E bike rental
Jul 2021
The ease of booking a bike was great. The service was great. They were very flexible and helpful. They helped solve our problem when we had to turn in our bikes early due to weather.

They made bike rental accommodating and effortlessly
Jun 2021 • Family
Very accommodating! They provided everything we needed for our family to have a great experience biking downhill vail pass. (Which was absolutely breathtaking!) They gave us many options of how to deal with the before and after of the bike rentals as well as clear instructions of where to go and the rules and safety.

THE go to Board shop 🙌🏽
Jan 2021
Was about to hit the slopes for the first time this season and realized I forgot to replace a binding strap I lost at the end of last season.
Took my board to Mountain Wave and as soon as I walked in, the staff was willing to see what they could do to get me on the mountain. John Platt (JP), literally made me a new binding strap from a bunch of scraps. He was so diligent and focused on setting me up that he had to sand some things down and built me what is probably a better strap than the original one. The Manager, Ryan, came in and made sure the board was solid, as well. Together, they were so adamant on ensuring the strap stayed put. They weren’t satisfied so rebuilt it a 2nd time to make it even stronger. These guys literally made my day - with their amazingly cool energy and getting me on the slopes for the day and setting me up for the rest of the season. I will never go to another board shop again when I am in town - thanks again guys!

Biking Adventure
Oct 2020
A day biking downhill from Vail Pass to Frisco, what a breathtaking ride! Approximately 15 miles (very effortlessly) downhill passing streams, mountains, and creeks, this ride was something that I as a "old woman" was apprehensive about. But after the great instruction of John at Mountain Wave, I felt like I could take it on!! They offer a total ride of 15 to Frisco, then another 9-10 to finish in Breck. I opted to stop after a cold beer at the Highland Brewery while the other two in my party biked back to Breck. All were tired, very happy and enthusiastic about our journey and what great memories we made. Highly recommend that you call ahead, make a reservation and DO THIS. You won't be sorry :)

Very accommodating company

They made it easy for us! What a fun day in the beautiful Colorado sunshine. Got quickly set up with bikes, helmets, instructions and off we went to the top of Vail Pass about 45 minutes from Breckenridge. It was all downhill for the first 6 miles and a little hairy for 1 person in our group of 3 but after she got used to being on a bike again it was fine. The trail is stunning and runs along a creek with multiple bridges, expansive views of valleys and mountains with ever changing colors. When we reached Frisco, we dined at Highland BRewery and then cycled back to Breckenridge an additional 10.5 miles. They said it requires "effort" to get there and they were right. By mile 9 we were getting tired and its barely uphill - it's the lack of oxygen.

Great place to rent bicycles for the day
Aug 2020 • Couples
Last month my wife and I were on vacation in Breckenridge and decided that it would be great to rent bikes for the day to enjoy the trails and take in all of the majestic scenery. After looking at online reviews, we selected Mountain Wave, which as it so happened was located only a half block away from our rental condo. We checked in around 930 and were promptly helped. They had lots of available bikes and multiple kinds to choose from. We chose to rent two e-bikes (Trek) for the day. These are not fully electric but rather electric assist to pedaling to make it easier on inclines, etc. The rate was $60 per bike for the full day. (helmets included) We were told that we could have the bikes until five or 5:30 PM, which was great. We took to the trails and headed north up to Frisco, about a 9 to 10 mile ride. It was terrific, and there were certain points where we definitely appreciated the 3-assist. The bikes included cable locks, so we stopped in Frisco and had lunch at the Butterhorn Bakery and Café, then biked back to and around Breckenridge. We had a great time… Exercise while enjoying the great outdoors. We would definitely do this again and fully recommend it to others.

Scenic ride from Breckenridge to Frisco
Aug 2020 • Family
I rented hybrid bikes for a group of six for a bike ride from Breckenridge to Frisco. I made reservations and once we arrived the team had us all ready to go in less than 30 mins. It’s best to arrive at 10am, after the vail shuttle group has departed. The location is less than a block away from the bike trail entrance. The staff was friendly and very organized. They made sure we had all the instructions we needed. We wanted to spend more time in Frisco so we returned the bikes at Frisco and took the free Summit County shuttle back to Breckenridge.

Great service and equipment

Rented a Trek E bike. When I went to pick it up, the bike was clean and ready. They even raised the handle bars for me. That E bike was awesome on the hills! Rode to Frisco and back with no problems. Had plenty of battery left.

Breathtaking Bike Ride!
Jul 2019 • Couples
My wife and I were in Breckenridge for a quick vacation and decided to rent a couple bikes and take the shuttle to Vail Pass for the bike ride down to Frisco. The staff was very courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. The bicycles were in very good shape with easy shifting and braking. The shuttle ride to Frisco and up to the pass only took about 40 minutes or so with the driver showing us some vital spots to look for on our ride back down the mountain. The views coming back down were amazing with several opportunities to stop and take photos of the journey. We stopped at Copper Mountain for a quick restroom break and to grab a water (which you may want to bring your own as the price was more than a College World Series water at the coffee shop there...) Anyway, the ride into Frisco was mostly downhill until the very end as you are coming into town. My wife wanted to ride all the way into breckenridge however, I, being older and much more out of shape chickened out and we caught the bus back to Breck. On the bus ride, we saw a few of the other riders going back to Breck on the bike trail and I REALLY wish I would have listened to my wife and went the distance as it didn't look nearly as hard as I thought it would be. When we go back to Breckenridge, we WILL do it again with the completed ride back to the shop in Breck. Thanks for everything!
