AMR ski shop is a great local business, Walk to the Gondola! We specialize in Ski, Snowboard and Telemark sales and rentals. We carry many Micro Brands made in the USA and Europe as well as the big guys, We carry a complete line of Helmets, gloves, ski poles, goggles, socks, hats, and this year skins, backpacks, and avalanch becons. Brands we carry are Salomon, Rossignol, Nordica, Blizzard, Head, Atomic, Scarpa, Arbor, Armada, 4FRNT, Faty-pus, Meier ski, Faction, and a few more! We rent Twin tips, Fattys, Carvers, and all mountain even in our most popular Better ski package. As well as an amazing selection of Demo skis and board in our Best package. Our location is great with plenty of parking and Walk to the Gondola in Breckenridge which takes you directly to the base of peak 7 and 8. Plus we include helmets in our rental and pay for 4 days and get the next day free! Thanks for choosing AMR

Took my board to be services here - the service was so bad I had to go to another shop down the street for them to re-do the work that was complete (Sun & Ski Sport). The wax didn't go to the end of the board, and AMR charged me more than the quoted price! The manager tried to tell me that it was my mistake that I had 'misheard' the amount quoted over the phone, and instead charged me the higher amount.
Recommend going to Sun & Ski Sport instead!

For 20 years we have visited the slopes and AMR has always taken care of us. We are total amateur, but our equipment has always been great.

AMR is a family-owned business run by tele legend Dave. It’s the only shop in town with legitimate tele rentals and it carries a wide variety of both alpine and telemark rental options. They have a friendly, knowledgable staff, the pricing is great, and it’s just down the road from the mountain. This is my third time renting from them when in Breckenridge and I’ll definitely be back.

My family of 6 just finished a 3 day ski trip in Breckinridge for the first time. AMR made it so easy and affordable to rent skis and they are right next to the slopes. Loki and Chief are fantastic mascots. We will definitely use AMR the next time we're in Breckinridge.

A great experience! Recently visited Breck for a week and these guys set up my group of 10 with great gear, all expertly fit for each person. They even swiped out a pair of boots, no questions asked. Returning the gear was fast and painless. I highly recommend!

I️ used this shop with my family of first time skiers. After some research I️ realized their prices were beating everyone so I️ assumed there was a reason. After visiting we had professional people fitting us for our rental gear which was great quality. We even got some pointers from the owner. I️ wish every shop was as professional as this one and I️ will be doing business with them again.

Breckenridge is now overrun with overpriced, poorly staffed ski and snowboard shops. AMR is the last of its kind in Breckenridge. The owner/operator, Dave, has been in this same location for 25+ years and his commitment to the business shows why. He carries the best equipment for the most affordable prices in the county. Not to mention, he skis 130+ days per season. The shop offers pre-pay, returning customer, and local discounts(best local demo deal ever!). Also, the shop has the widest variety of brand name skis for demo and standard rental. Last time I was in with friends, they had 10 different brands to choose from. The skis they offer for demo are the same skis that Colorado locals actually ski everyday(mid-fat twins w/ rocker plus more). In addition to hardgood rentals, they also have outerwear for rent as well which you won't find at many shops these days. Although most of the quality long time staff has moved on(Zach, Jeff, Sam, Matt, Steve), the guys like Garrett and Ari in there now are quality and knowledgeable employees. Needless to say, I recommend this shop to any and everyone who comes to visit Breckenridge. The business is local, customer oriented, affordable, and flexible. What more could you ask for? 5 Stars!!!

First rented from AMR in Dec 2014. Dave and the team were highly knowledgeable, the equipment was great (we were new to the sport), and the prices were the best around.
In September 2016 we received a newsletter advertising a great discount for the 2016/17 season if you pre-paid by the end of the month. We were coming back for 3 weeks and would need gear for the kids, so we jumped on the deal. Not only did we get these great savings, but Dave also gave us further discounts as we were returning customers, and because we needed the gear for 3 weeks. Today is our last day, and yesterday we ended up buying the equipment we have been using for the past 3 weeks. Dave gave us a full credit for the money we had already used for the rental, to put towards the purchase.
To top off our great experience with AMR, Dave ever suggested that if we were back again, and the equipment was in good condition, he could probably swap it out for the sizes we would need then.
Dave, it is rare to find a business which is so customer focused. I thank you. I have 8 friends coming here in Jan 2017 who are definitely renting from you, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to anyone else. Thanks again.

A locals place near the Breckenridge Gondola parking lot, found it via Reddit. Got a great set of skis. In and out in less then 15 minutes.
I belong to a ski club and have used some of the large shops at the mountain base, these were way better. We were on our own for this trip so a car made it easy to get to.
