Great beers on tap. We sat outside and it was amazing. Even in cool weather. Other guests had dogs and it was so friendly. I highly recommend the flights of beer to taste them all.

Dog friendly great spot. I loved their beers and we stayed longer than originally planned. I am glad we took the time out of our road trip to stop here.

My husband and I always make a point to go to a lot of breweries when we travel it's our thing. We sat down my husband always orders his standard IPA I'm a little pickier I always want a sample first to make sure I'm not throwing away my money if I don't like it. I asked the waiter could I have a sample of the beer I was pointing to he said we don't do samples here. I said oh wow we go to breweries all the time I've never been to one that didn't do samples. He said welcome to Broken compass!! I thought that was a little cocky and rude. I then asked my husband if I order this beer will you drink it if I don't like it. The waiter rolled his eyes and turned away and walks back up to the bar. I was confused. I then noticed he was filling up sample glasses. He walked over with four samples of beers mind you I only asked for one. He slammed all four samples down and immediately walked away. He didn't tell us what each of the samples were he didn't apologize and say I'm sorry I'll make an exception and get you a few samples this time nothing just slammed them on the table and walked away. My husband and I looked at each other in horror and said you know what let's just leave we're not welcome here. We got up and walked out. It's really too bad because when we go to breweries we spend a lot of money were very good tippers and we usually purchase t-shirts and stickers. I've never been treated so rudely. We drove up the street to the next Brewery. I asked the waiter do you by chance offer samples because at this point I'm thinking maybe Colorado doesn't do that like every other state do, he looked at me and said of course we offer samples were a Brewery what do you think. I told him well the brewery down the road does not he just looked at me with a wow. The next night we went to another Brewery I asked if they offered samples he said due to covet they're putting them in a small plastic glass and limiting them I said that's fine I just want to taste this beer to make sure I like it and you can even reuse my plastic glass to fill it up with my beer if I like it. Anyway I'm rambling on but I would never refer anybody to the broken Compass Brewery. this gentleman probably needs to find a different career…

Lovely local pub. We did a flight and I was not disappointed with any of the beers. Locals rave about it and they don’t mass distribute so one of those “only in Breckinridge” experiences. Social distancing and contactless interactions. Even got a sneak peak at a double citra IPA that was amazing don’t miss this spot. …
