This is a great paved multi use path. The scenery is exceptional and awe inspiring. The only problem is tourists who do not use bike path etiquette—-meaning, stay on your side and be mindful of faster bikers trying to pass you. Summit county recently gave...More

I loved this ride and would return to Vail just to experience it again. We rode downhill for a number of miles enjoying the fall weather, the aspens, the river and the mountains. Beautiful!

Coasting through meadows, alongside a mountain stream with waterfalls, stunning views and more - what an experience! This isn't exercise, it's more relaxing than that. Take your time, stop often to enjoy the views. Pack snacks or a lunch and chill! We did this on...More

What a great ride down Vail Pass. We used Mountain Wave for our rentals and shuttle service, and would highly recommend them. They where all so helpful, and safety oriented, a really great company. My wife and I really enjoyed the cruise in to Frisco....More

Riding up to the top of Vail Pass from Frisco is a lot of fun if you are fit and used to the altitude, but climbing up nearly 1500' is no joke. There are several shuttle companies that will bring you to the top for...More

Fantastic bike trail. Very, very scenic and a very good distance from the road (which is I-70). Sometimes you can't even see it.

I have only ridden in the summer. Unless there is a stretch of warm weather, it would be very dangerous. There are parts that are steep, and it is not very wide...with some steep inclines on the sides.

Uber will not be cheaper, and it might not be that easy to get an Uber early in the morning. Definitely go with one of the local shops. I highly recommend Mountain Wave in Breckenridge. Outstanding staff!
