We recently visited with 7 children ages 2-10 and when I saw the size of the facility I was worried that there might not be enough to keep busy, but it was AMAZING and kept all the kids busy until we had to drag them out at closing time almost 5 hours later! Very reasonably priced and Grandparents are free!

I needed a place to bring a 1 and 3 yr old as parents went skiing. This museum is a glorified daycare type set up with activity centers: craft area (crayons, markers, glue, stickers, puff balls, Popsicle sticks, colored ribbon, etc all at the perfect height for kids to feel as though they are in their own art studio and... Although not the largest children's center, this little museum is packed full of activities to keep the little one busy for hours. It makes for a welcome break for parents and grandparents after a long day of walking/hiking/biking/skiing. Because it is sponsored by local businesses, the price is very reasonable.

It's not the biggest children's museum, but that was actually nice - multiple areas for our 4- and 2-year-olds to explore on one floor, while we could play with them, or watch while drinking our coffee. Really great that admission works all day, so if you need to take a break for lunch and naptime, you can come back later.... More

We actually went to Breck specifically because my daughter earned a reward, and this is where she most wanted to go (this museum). We were worried it wouldn't seem as great the next year (she is now 7), but she loved it. She begged to go back the next day. This is a total must see if you have kids... More

My grandsons loved this place and asked to go back several times. The location is great, there is a variety of things to do to keep them learning and busy. Loved the science experiments, "fishing", dress up room and much more. Worth the cost!

Loved the intimacy, yet great fun and brain stimulation of this little museum. Not much more for kids over 5 I would imagine. A real great fine in a great little town.

We traveled to Breckinridge during mud season so each day we got rained/snowed/sleeted on for 45-60 min. We were downtown shopping when we got caught in and a store owner suggested we try the Children's Museum, we walked in the door and my kids literally squealed in delight. We spent the rest of the afternoon trying to uncover even a... More

I took my grandkids to a late afternoon class/workshop and we really enjoyed it. If you are looking to something in your down time from skiing with young kids this is an excellent choice. Fun and learning combined.

my 4 year old loved the dress up and the coloring / creative area. TINY. Its not like a big city kids museum but it was enough to entertain my daughter for more than an hour and she would have stayed longer
