- tdear66La Plata, Maryland28 contributionsAlways an Excellent Massage! My husband and I have been getting massages here on our annual trip to Breck for the past six years. We both like deep tissue and the therapists here are usually very good. This year he had Anne, who he said did not give him enough pressure and was rather disappointing. I had Joanna, who gave me one of the best massages I’ve ever had! Great pressure and she really got to work on my knotted muscles without leaving me bruised. She also gave me some great advice on things I can do at home to improve my spine and musculature health. She was great and I can5 wait to get another massage from her next year!So glad you came to visit us again! I apologize that your husband's therapist didn't go deep enough. We will have a discussion with her and re-evaluate the deep tissue techniques she is using. If need be, extra training will be available to her. We appreciate your feedback and look forward to seeing you next year.Written February 12, 2020This response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of Tripadvisor LLC.Visited February 2020Traveled as a coupleWritten February 10, 2020
- C GAustin, Texas108 contributionsTreat yourself to this Spa on a family vacation!Small town in Colorado, how good could a spa be, we initially thought. We ended up LOVING our experience. They are more of a full-service shop than you’d expect, with hydra facials, facial planing, waxing services and an oxygen bar. Julie gave me the best massage that helped with fatigue from travel and altitude - I felt so energized afterwards. We definitely recommend it, if you can squeeze time in for “treat yourself” time on a family vacation!Visited July 2021Traveled with friendsWritten July 1, 2021
- happytraveler46756New Jersey63 contributionsBest massage everBeautiful spa. I had an Amazing deep tissue massage by Amber. She even spent time afterwards giving me stretches she recommends. I also had oxygen during the massage. I feel amazing. One of the best massages ever. Thank you Amber M.Visited January 2022Traveled soloWritten January 28, 2022
- Jessica M1 contributionUncomfortableI schedule a couples massage for my boyfriend and I as a relaxation day to end our vacation. We found this spa as a recommended spa by our rental property. Let me start by saying my massage therapist was amazing he did a wonderful job. However my boyfriend’s massage therapist was terrible her demeanor was an unwelcoming from the start. Not friendly what so ever. Made both of use feel as if she did not work on him. Just overall her attitude ruined the entire experience for us. Our tip was not a reflection on the service but as who we are. Please hire massage therapist that truly enjoy what they do.Visited January 2022Traveled as a coupleWritten January 28, 2022
- Clara T8 contributionsNot at all bad, but could be betterThis is a very nice spa and by all means, the services were more than adequate. The reason for my average review is that after making my reservations, something had come up that made it difficult for me to make it. I had called hoping that I could reschedule but they were not very accommodating. If you cancel past their 24 hour mark, they will charge you the full price of the services you had requested. The other reason is that most spas I have frequented give you a choice of music you would like to listen to during your massage. The massage room was hooked to the front desk music so whatever the front desk girl is listening to, you also listen to. For me, country music is more aggravating than relaxing and I was disappointed that I either had to get massaged in silence or listen to music that isn't very pleasant to me. Third reason was my therapist, after I had to repeatedly told him that he was hurting me, would lighten his touch only to dig into my back with full force again three minutes later. My shoulders were in very bad pain for the rest of the day.Visited March 2015Traveled as a coupleWritten March 5, 2015

I opted for the "Mile High" massage with CBD oil and my aches and pains seemed to melt away. The therapist listened to my issues and gave oine of the best targeted massages I've had for a while. Good value for money. The waiting area is pleasant with water and hot tea served and there is even a wine option. We are so happy you enjoyed your massage with us. - Silvia S2 contributionsPoor business practicesThe facial was good and the aesthetician was experienced. No problem with the facial. However, I did not like their business practices. I paid $149 for a 60 minute facial. Twenty minutes into the treatment the aesthetician asked me if I wanted to include any of the add-ons at $30 and $80 each. I was not told ahead of time that there would be add-ons.Because I decided not to get any of the add-ons and just wanted my 60 minute basic facial, she was done with me after 30 minutes. Bottom line: I paid $149 for a 30 minute facial. Too expensive. The staff at Blue Sage Spa should be up front with their clientele and let them know what they're paying for. This is the first time I write a review on anything. But I had to because I felt cheated. I'm not going back.We apologize for the miscommunication with your Hydrafacial. The basic HydraFacial is $149 for 45 minutes and that includes the time for the add-on serums. We offer 4 different add-ons to that facial listed in the brochure and website. Sorry that when you booked this facial it wasn't explained to you better. Perhaps we can have you back in for our most popular Blue Sage Facial for 60 minutes and no add-ons.Written June 20, 2018This response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of Tripadvisor LLC.Visited March 2017Traveled soloWritten April 4, 2017
- Tom BMiamisburg, Ohio94 contributionsWonderful...Although staying at a lodge that had spa services, we sought out one in the village of Breckenridge. After checking TA, we made reservations at the Blue Sage Spa...and were not disappointed. We made our reservation for the day after we arrived and were treated to wonderful and relaxing day. We both had hot rock massages and the therapists for both were excellent in their task. Relaxed, we enjoyed a wonderful week in Breckenridge and the surrounding areas! Thanks to Joanne, Heather and Stephanie for the great treatments and service. On a side note, we loved that the owner brings her dog to work everyday...as do several businesses in the area. This dog had been coming to work with the owner since it was a puppy and was now quite elderly in years. With a few pets we seemed to get a smile and a few good tail wags to go with it. A nice local touch...Visited September 2014Traveled as a coupleWritten January 22, 2015
- DRK87Austin, Texas164 contributionsGreat experienceScheduled a 60 minute massage for today. Very relaxing environment. The spa is larger than it seems from outside. I was assigned a male masseuse, which is usually not my preference; however, Daniel was amazing. He was friendly and professional. The music in the treatment room was typical "spa" music---soothing. We visit Breckenridge frequently and I would not hesitate to schedule another massage here on our next trip.Visited January 2015Traveled with familyWritten January 3, 2015

This is a real shame. Visited twice while there on vacation and the first time was one of the best massages I have ever had(that is why I went back), however, the second time was the most awful experience I have ever had while having a masage. The therapist had bad breath and it was painful with her leaning over me. The massage followed no 'routine' so it was very hard to relax as I had no idea where she was targeting next - she was all over the place. She constantly sniffed(when I say constant i mean every 30 seconds - not sure if it was a cold or whatever) to the point I was so tense that her nose could drip on me - it truly was awful.

While we strive to exceed all of our customers expectations, occasionally unforeseen situations may occur. It is our policy that all staff conduct themselves with the utmost in professionalism when in session. Had an issue been brought to the attention of management, it would have gladly been dealt with. We are proud to provide a progressive massage environment musically, and proud to employ the best and most professional therapists in Summit Co.

I’ve had quite few massages in Breckenridge, but today was a special one. My therapist Wren was so in tune with pressure and sensitivity and had the most gentle, but effective touch. It was as though her hands had ears. My wife got a couples massage in the adjacent room, which opened up so we could enjoy each other’s presence. We’ll be back for sure.

I don’t normally get massages, but after a back injury the doctor suggested I do so. Taryn was extraordinarily knowledgeable and skilled. The entire experience was wonderful and quite reasonable for a ski resort. I highly recommend it to anybody who has aches and pains after skiing, small or large.
