Came here with my daughter and friend to celebrate my 60th birthday. It was last minute and this spa did an amazing job of getting us 3 massage therapists at the same time. My massage was lovely and so relaxing. Great way to bring in my new decade!

Scheduled a facial at the last minute; staff called me back with options. It was the BEST FACIAL that I have ever had! I would definitely recommend The Spa at Breckenridge. Make sure you utilize the outdoor pool/hot tubs (yes, in February!) & steam bath prior to your facial. Great value. AMAZING!

My mom and I both received the Clear Your Mind body treatment, and without a doubt, I have to say that was, hands down, the message massage I've ever had in my life, and I will probably (whether I want to or not) compare all future massages to this experience.
The Clear Your Mind treatment is a combination of aromatherapy, acupuncture and traditional massages (closer to Swedish than deep tissue, but a good level of pressure) in an "East meets West" style. I have never had a treatment like this before, and I'm not sure there is anything else quite like it. I am sure that the other treatments are also very good - I, however, loved this massage so much that I am planning to re-visit the spa and get the same treatment next time I visit Breckenridge.
The spa itself is very classy, beautifully decorated and stylish. The people are very sweet and knowledgeable. Their therapists really seem to have a passion for what they do; the Clear Your Mind treatment is the product of thousands of years of human genius, innovation and creativity. From the oils and creams they use, to the stunningly brilliant method of targeting muscles with the perfect amount of pressure, this treatment was unbelievably wonderful.
The oils and creams they used genuinely had a positive impact on the treatment - the cream really soaked in and warmed my muscles, which actually changed how the massage felt. I am not one to easily trust the therapeutic or homeopathic value of creams and oils; not only are oils and creams extremely common with massages (and while there is nothing wrong with them, none have ever made this much of an impact), but there are also so many frauds out there. The fact that I honestly felt the effects that the products claim to have is the reason I know that the people at the Spa at Breckenridge (their therapists, trainers and even managers and consultants) are legitimately serious about what they do.
My mother was able to work with her therapist to modify her treatment based on recent surgery that she'd had, and I was so pleased that my mom enjoyed her massage as much as I enjoyed mine.
I would also recommend the Clear Your Mind massage for athletes as well as anyone needing a stress relief; the design of this treatment perfectly targeted my sore muscles, and relieved tension that had been building up for months from hitting the gym hard. I even felt relief in muscles that I didn't know were tense (like the area under the arm - across the side and back of the ribcage - I nearly cried in happiness and relief when my therapist massaged that region). I had never had a massage target those muscles before and I was more than pleasantly surprised.
I know this was a very lengthy review - I just wanted to share my thoughts on a very impressive experience; I was trying to figure out the title for this review when I was still in the treatment room.

Due to snow, we were stuck in Denver and called to cancel. No flexibility on the 50.00 cancellation fee on a date they said they were slow - easy money for them and total rip off. With so many other options, skip this one. Their professionalism and customer service was terrible. Hard to get return phone calls and no one but their "manager" could answer questions and of course she said no way. Thank you, April - NOT! With this kind of customer care, I would doubt any of their services are worth it.

Carson,
Typically, I would not respond to the negative, but in your case I feel as if it is needed due to the false statements you have made. When you first made your reservation on November 25th at 5:00 pm for a massage, you gave us your credit card number and our cancellation policy was explained to you. When Nov. 25th came around, you called to cancel your massage at 4:00 p.m. the day of your appointment, and our cancellation policy was explained to you yet again. We listened to your reasoning as to why you could not make your reservation and we agreed to reschedule for Nov. 28th at 12:00 p.m. Early 2:00 a.m. on Nov. 28th the day of your appointment, you called and left a message stating you had to leave Breckenridge and could not make your reservation. When your call was returned during regular business hours a message was left stating our policy and to please call us with any questions and/or a reschedule. You returned our call a full month later on January 9th. We did a follow up with you and listened to your excuses again. As a business, we followed our policy which did not give in to your threats of writing a bad review.

The wife and I visited this morning. Great experience overall. Everyone was very pleasant and went out of their way to serve us. The manager? who greeted us and took care of the front desk as well as my massage therapist Amy were excellent catering to our every need. Clearly very accustomed to meeting the needs of their clients for many years.
I searched all around for the best spa and this one seemed to be the best option for my wife and I. Not that it's a bad thing, but I was surprised at how small the actual spa facility was: 1 bathroom, 1 sink, 1 shower in men's locker room. I had expected a larger facility, but I never felt cramped; basically had the place to ourselves. Was a little upset with myself that I forgot to mention the discount online. It was one of the reason's I chose to visit there, but only blame myself. Would definitely return.

Our group of five women went to the Spa at Breckenridge for various treatments- three of us had body wraps and two had massages. We have all had numerous spa treatments throughout our lives, and three of us said that their treatments were probably the best spa treatments they had ever experienced! Their estheticians/ massage therapists were excellent at what they did- professional, courteous, and thorough. The atmosphere in the spa is very calming and tranquil. There are showers in some of the treatment rooms, so you do not have to walk anywhere while covered in mud to rinse off after that portion of your wrap is completed, which I have had to do in other spas. They also have lockers, robes, slippers, and a steam room right in the spa. Everyone commented on how great their skin felt after the treatments.
Part of your service's fee is a resort fee for use of the fitness center, pool, and hot tubs, if you so choose. Some of our group spent time out by the pool, and I enjoyed the hot tub. The views from the pool area are stunning, and it was so peaceful and serene while I was there.
The reason for four stars instead of five is that my experience could have been better. The service itself was quite nice: a good thorough dry brushing, not too hard and not too light, application of mud( it could have been warmer), a wrap, scalp massage, mini facial, foot massage, rinse in the shower, followed by application of lotion. As I later found out from my group as I said I was a bit cold during the service, everyone else who had a wrap had a heated bed/ table! In addition, the lotion at the end should really be heated, as I inadvertently jumped a couple of times while it was applied. My therapist, while polite, was a bit sloppy and not polished in her technique, as she applied a masque to my face and got material in my mouth and nose, and while rubbing lotion on my face, pushed hair on my nose and over my closed eyes which made me itch and almost sneeze( I have not experienced either of these issues during previous facials). I next had the best ever waxing by a different esthetician, however, who would get five stars for sure.
Be aware that gratuity is included in your service, of which the front desk assistant did inform us upon check out. It was around 20%, which is what I would normally leave, although I would have probably given 25% to the waxing esthetician and 15% to the body wrap esthetician, under the circumstances, and would have liked to have been able to decide that for myself.
All in all I do highly recommend this spa. My mistake was not saying something about the lack of warmth in the bed and in the products used. Next time!

I had a body treatment service there that included massage. The treatment was good, in fact I would go again. But if you are used to a spa with a big pre/post treatment lounge and fantastic bathrooms - this is not the place. Don't get me wrong - the bathroom was clean, had a shower and a steam room (which I couldn't figure out how to operate). But the sitting area before you go in is just a chair. So go for the service, not necessarily pre and post treatment relaxation areas.

This place exceeded exception! Small but awesome atmosphere. I had a facial by Cassie and a massage by David. Both were over the top great. I will defiantly come back the next time I am in Breck.

Hi. I'm looking for a day spa, where I can spend a chunk of a day with treatments, and hot-tubs and other amenities and the ability to order lunch. Is this the place?
Written March 21, 2017
Not really. There's no lunch. You can use the hot tubs on the roof. There's nowhere to sit and relax afterward really.
