we tend to visit summit county every ski season and ski at breckenridge and keystone. we enjoy both... friendly staff and good instructors. not cheap by any means and getting more expensive every year. breckenridge is good for learning and less skilled skiers and snowboarders.

If you go mid-season, I find everything to be open and some great trails that are less busy than the more beginner mountains where it can get considerably crowded. Lots of accessibility whether you're ski on/off or 100-200 yards. Only regret is that the snow...More

Love the old town feel with plenty of shopping, especially liked the hand crafted items. The slopes were great for average skier. It was easy to get around from town to slopes.

Beautiful scenic town where west rocks east! Quaint like a new England town but with a west coast twist. Laid back plus cozy! Can’t beat it for summer cool down :)

Have skied here too many times to count. Have enough terrain to cover all times of skiing/boarding abilities. January is usually very cold. It gets busy in February (high ski season) and March (spring break).

Breckenridge, Colorado ski resort is a popular place with downhill skiers because of it's size, several mountains, attractive setting and location within commuting distance of Denver. Locals call it Breckenfridge because of low winter temperatures stemming from it's location, East side of the mountains, and...More
