We saw Spamalot here last summer and Chicago this summer. Both were very well done. They were creative, fun, intimate, and very professional. I've seen both on Broadway and neither suffered in comparison. This is an affordable treasure! Another great thing to do in Breckenridge.

Looking for things to do in Breckenridge, and saw this place that had not only a live theater show for children (the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe) but had an evening showing of chicago, we decided to buy tickets. This is a beautiful and intimate theater setting! We were lucky enough to be front row for both showings and... More

We've seen several shows here, including Chicago last night. All have been professional performances in an intimate setting, and all really well done. This is not local amateurs, these guys put on a great show. The new venue is really nice, comfy seats, but still nice and small so everyone is close to the stage. Highly recommended.

We have been subscribers to theater companies in Denver and Albuquerque for many years. Staying with friends in Breckenridge, the four of us saw Chicago at the new Backstage Theater. Pleasantly surprised. Loved the new venue. Loved the play. We were amazed at the voices throughout the entire cast. Fabulous singers in every role. The staging on such a small... More

Saw Chicago tonight. It was a great production of a Bob Fosse classic. The cast was so professional, the singing and dancing were outstanding, and the staging of this full-cast musical was creative and excellent. We all thought that it was on-par with any traveling Broadway musical show. The new theatre has amazingly comfortable seats and a great sound system.... More

I saw Chicago last night in the new theater with friends from Houston and all of us were impressed with the quality of the program and the improved venue. The musical and dance talent was just fantastic and the stage and sound were just wonderful. And then the most comfortable seats as well. Chris Willard, you and your staff have... More

Saw Chicago the other night. It was fantastic. As professional a production as you would find in any major city. The new theatre is beautiful and the seats are Ike those in a movie theatre. Very comfortable. We go to this theatre very often, but honestly, this was one of the best productions we have ever seen. It is very... More

We saw the musical Chicago on our last night in town. The performance was amazing. Even though there was a canned (not live) accompanying orchestra, we were blown away by the music. The venue itself is newly remodeled. In fact, the new name on the marquis is The Breckenridge Theater. The city of Breckenridge donated millions for its renovation. This... More

The theater has just completed a total revamp and it's gorgeous . Still intimate with about140 seats, lovely new bar gallery area, air conditioning and an outside area for the interval. Professional shows with a great ambiance .

The caliber of acting, singing, and dancing was what you expect to see in a major metropolitan theatre. We saw "Chicago" the second night after opening in their new space and it was simply amazing. The only, and it is small, downside was that the theatre was warm, but it was warm outside and perhaps they're still trying to figure... More
