Fun area. Enjoyed just looking around and hanging out. Check it out and enjoy the views. You can look across the valley and see the opposite side during sunset. Very nice. Afternoon thunderstorms can shorten your stay on the hill; don't be caught on the hill with lightning. Heed the warning of the locals. Hope that helps.

Peak 9 has something for everyone, especially children and beginners. The Quicksilver lift takes you up and it is all green/easy runs coming down or you can grab another lift to blues and blacks. When you come down under the Quicksilver lift there are two fun "through the tree" trails called Riparoo's Run and the Haunted Forest. My kids had... More

This is a nice resort to ski with the family or friends. The lifts are really good, and even though we went on spring break, the lines were not that long or slow. The only downside for us, was that since marihuana is legal, some people smoke at the restaurants, etc.

Peak 9 is my favorite peak because I can expert ski and find my beginners down the mountain. We can meet for lunch and go our separate ways. Ill ether north side of the mountain with blue groomers, blue advanced and black runs. If you are intermediate this is the mid-mountain for you! Enjoy!

The ski season is over but the snow is still here. Peak nine is a great place for family skiing. In the summer time Breckenridge Stables is located about half way up the slope under the Quicksilver lift. Yes you can drive up. They have trail rides on both peak nine and ten. Peak nine also has Ten Mile Station... More

Peak 9 is one of our go-to spots when we're in Breckenridge. It's got wide green runs that beginners can easily conquer, and access to challenging blues and blacks for all other ski levels. I took 2 beginners classes here. The first one was decent with a nice trainer who let me go at my speed, which didn't get me... More

When the warm April weather arrives, of the 5 Breck mountains, Peak 9 offers the least crowded and most consistent snow at the intermediate level. Mostly groomed and less crowded than Peak 8, where most snow boarders and younger kids congregate due to the half pipe, even the few expert runs on Peak 9 are skiable for the intermediate when... The base of peak 9 has a ticket office and daycare. There are shopping options and food too. Great lifts to get you where you wan to go on the mountain too. If you get here early, there's parking right at the base, paid of course, but you can ride to the lift from the parking lot. Highly recommend this... More

Our family has been here over 20 years. It's beautiful, great runs, great service. The runs range from super easy to double black so a lot of variety. Ski school is well run though as all of them super expensive in my opinion- but don't forget if you do ski school you get a free ski pass.

Lots of wide open runs - and probably lots of little ski school types - we were mid-week skiers so missed that. April ski trip - never a lift line all day. Snow was pretty good - got a short 2" dump during one day that pretty well shut things down for a while - but that is spring skiing... More
