Breck has fantastic skiing but it is also one of the best ski towns in Colorado. The Inn at Peak 9, is in the Village and at the end of main street. And even better, it is just steps away from the lift! The Inn...More

This was by far one of the more favorite parts on the mountain that I enjoyed skiing. I have skied a lot of big mountains before and this was one of my favorites. So much room and the snow was amazing for this early of...More

My kids love Peak 9 - it's their favorite at Breck and at the bottom is a great little restaurant/lodge to sit in. My kids comfortably go up and down this slope all day long.

Even the app said this was “another peak at Breckinridge”. The skiiing does open again until mid-November. Checking on this was a waste of time in October.

From the hotels along Village Road, it's a nice hike to visit Peak 9. There is Sawmill Reservoir just a few hundred steps up the Sawmill Creek Valley and from there the open ski slopes are ready for exploration.

Great place to meet for a quick lunch or adult beverage. Nice band playing to also pass the time. You may have to "circle" looking for chairs, but be patient and you will eventually get some.

Going from peak to peak at Breck is great. Peak 9 had nice long runs, to over difficult but still challenging. Plenty of lifts spread out so wait times are very reasonable. Easy to navigate between peaks.

The Gondola ride from town to base of Peak 7 or 8 is free- there is no direct ride to Peak 9 which of course is more "in town". . There are in town free buses that will take you there from various properties.
