Epic in person was 100 percent better than epic online.(unable to edit anything which left you helpless). Once we arrived at the booth, everyone we dealt with were courteous and helpful. There were tons of people to guide you to the right locations.

Wow, what a difference a year - and, I assume to some degree COVID - can make. If you read my review of Epic Discovery last year you'd know that it CAN BE a great place for a family day out. But, this year everything had changed. Almost all of the activities were closed, with only two main rides open (although they are probably the best two.) That may all be because of COVID, who knows. But, what likely isn't due to COVID is that they have removed the unlimited pass option, and now you must pay for each ride separately...and they aren't cheap. We went up to have some fun with our teenagers while on vacation. The zip line and trampoline were closed. That left the alpine slide and coaster. We bought our tickets and got in line for the alpine slide. We waited an hour and finally got to the front of the line. They said there would be a thirty minute delay because there was a lightening strike within 20 miles. Then the small storm cloud rolled over and the sun came out. It was sunny for quite some time when an employee came by and said there was another lightning strike within 20 miles. After three hours of waiting (in the sun), we finally left. Most disappointing day of vacation ever. …

We had never done the Alpine slide and roller coaster so it was something we really wanted to do. It was expensive as you had to pay for every ride, every time. They were not selling day passes where you can ride as much as you like for one price. It was $28 for the slide and roller coaster, per person, per ride. We only went on each once, but would have loved to go again. This may have helped with the lines as people were not riding as much. We never had to wait in line. We did go early too though. The restaurants were closed and the food court was just overpriced snacks/candy/drinks. We did enjoy a beer and the view. The staff were very helpful!…
