We always use Black Tie for all of our ski trips. First time using this location and they were awesome. We were at Copper mountain. Service was prompt, friendly and they were very knowledgeable. One in out group wanted to try snowboarding and they came to swap out gear mid-trip without hassle. They are great about supplying skis based on the expected conditions for the week.

I had 48 hours in Breckenridge with not a lot of time to waste picking up and facilitating rentals. My 7:30am delivery on Saturday morning showed up right on time (7:29am) and in 5 minutes I had my boots confirmed, bindings fitted and ski's ready to go for the next two days. I called when I was done skiing (had moved to a new location), and when they weren't available to pick the skis up right away (I probably should have called earlier) they told me to leave the equipment outside my unit if I went out and they came and picked them up hassle free. I never once had to go to a shop or anywhere out of my way to pick up or drop off my skis. I will use this service every time I am out West.

I am not good at Skiing but I took baby steps and enjoyed my time up on the slops. Had a great time in Breckenridge. Beautiful town!!!

Just got back from two days of skiing at Breck. I was going to bring my skis, but the $120 US Airways charge nixed that. Plan B - call up Black Tie and arrange to have skis, boots, and poles delivered to my hotel room. They showed up on time and after a swap out of boots that were a bit large, I was ready to go. The equipment was in great shape and the conditions were off the chart.
After the second day of skiing, I called up Black Tie and they showed up on time to take away the equipment. The staff was always courteous and helpful. I would definitely use them again.
I know this is not a very exciting review, but that's the whole point: Black Tie did its job and it did it very professionally. No excitement here. Just a really convenient and great service.

We found Black Tie Ski Rentals listed on web sites and the reviews were great. This review is just meant to continue to confirm this company as the go-to ski equipment rental service all over Colorado and CA, too! They were SOOOOOO flexible and easy going, matched with excellent prices and equipment which surpassed my expectations. I could not believe that they could actually do all a store could do with delivery, fitting and pickup at my vacation rental location.

Poles broken and couldn’t ski for a day and then had to rent poles elsewhere. No reimbursement for broken pole.

Amazing service the best in Vail and Beaver Creek.
They are always looking for satisfy your needs, is the 5th time we hire them and they are simply the best.
This time Ryan (tall with beard guy) gave an exceptional service, he even went back to office to get us the boots we needed.

I've used black tie when skiing in Tahoe and decided to try the Breckenridge outfit for the first time. I'm extremely happy I chose to rent from them. They were very courteous, prompt and in regular communication. They brought an alternative boot size that I ended up going with instead. They delivered to my hotel and we're done very quickly.

It doesn't get any more convenient than this! We planned to arrive in Breckenridge around 8:30 on a Friday and start skiing on Saturday. Black Tie was recommended as a great way to rent equipment, so i went online a week or so before our trip and eased my way through the online rental process. I set it up for them to come by our house (about 20 minutes out of Breckenridge) at 8:30 Friday night. They arrived right on time with all the equipment we needed, and extras just in case. The guys were helpful and friendly, and had us all set in about 15 minutes. When we were done skiing on Sunday, we called and set up a time to have them come back and pick everything up. They would have met us at the slopes, but we were having dinner at some friends house in town, so we set it up for them to come by there later that night. Their guy showed up right on time and it took about 5 minutes to get the equipment back to him. Amazingly easy process... and the price is right!

Since I first discovered Black Tie Skis many years ago, I have never rented anywhere else. I have used them in several ski resorts over the years, but now only ski at Breckenridge. Brad and his staff at Black Tie provide excellent, friendly and timely service to my home in Breckenridge. We have small and large groups from 4-15 guests who get fitted in pairs in a very short period of time. No more waiting at rental shops. They arrive while we are relaxing in our home and come back whenever we ask. I have even delayed purchasing my own equipment because Black Tie is so convenient.
