As a first time fly fisher, I had a good experience. My friend is an experienced fisher person. Our guide Christian provided both of us with a good trip he was patient, a kind person for a 26 year old, a good driver to the River, a good listener. And an excellent instructor and tied beautiful flies. Loaded with equipment to make our trip comfortable and easy. Can’t say enough good things about him and the store and the trip!

We had a fantastic day! I would highly recommend this business. Scheduling, preparation with licenses and gear, fishing, and follow up were all extremely professional. It is obvious that the guides really love their work and are dedicated to making their guests feel comfortable and enjoy their day....no matter how each person defines a fun day. My daughter and I tagged along on my husband's birthday fishing trip and the guides made sure we all had a custom experience that made each person happy. I just enjoyed hanging out on shore and really had no desire to fish but they honored my request to find a "pretty place" and they even made sure there was a bathroom, cell service, and plenty of water available. One of my daughters wanted to participate for a little while and they were patient and encouraging and also allowed her to take a break and be done when she had enough. My husband is a fairly experienced fisherman but still felt like he learned quite a bit. He really enjoyed the experience immensely. I would definitely do this again and would recommend it to anyone! It was also easy terrain and a short walk from the car which I know is important to some people. It really was an experience that anyone would enjoy!

A fantastic day on the Big Thompson! Fished the Big Thompson on a full day guided trip with Tim Neering. Tim provided the instructions and flies for an epic day catching browns and rainbows all day. I couldn't ask for a better day. The instructions from Tim were first rate. I learned how to catch and land fish on 8x tippet. I was catching fish when other fishermen next to us were not. I can't recommend Tim enough!

After years of talking about it, Dad and I finally arranged a father-daughter day on the water. Our guide par excellence, Wallace, readily discussed many possible destinations with us ahead of time, and we chose a location close to home for own logistics. Fish were caught, skills learned, and memories made. Considering one of us has only ever caught colds before, hooking a bunch of good sized rainbows and wild browns was thrilling! Wallace had tremendous patience and many suggestions for us novices, and was a stellar guide who kept switching rigs and tactics to help get fish on the lines. Our morning started with still water that was unexpectedly murky, but even that didn't stop us from hauling up a few big ones early on in the day. Being on the river was a welcome escape from our daily routines, and the scenery could not have been nicer - when we noticed it the few times we took our eyes off the moving water. Definitely looking forward to going again.

We had an amazing day fly fishing in Rocky Mountain National Park with Brenden. Great shop, helpful staff, quality gear. Wonderful experience, me and two kids- we all caught trout and ended the day with a beautiful Greenback Cutthroat. Will do again next summer.
