My children and I had a great time! This is a escape room with no actors (which I actually prefer).
My 8 year olds were allowed to participate (most rooms won’t allow). Although they are of little help in solving the puzzles, they love to participate in the activities with the older brothers and I find this a great bonding experience.
Joao Pedro from staff is great and gave us the clues but never the solution allowing us to to figure for ourselves.
Would definitely recommend to families or groups !

This was a fun and unique family time that involved lots of communication and working together. First you should know that your GPS will probably get you lost. This place is in a warehouse-type building on the north side of Lee Hill about a block west of Broadway. There is a temporary banner-type sign that's easy to miss. Other things to note-- the game is designed for 8 people at a time so either book with a group or be prepared to work with people who may be irritating. :) Also, although it mentions 'psycho killer' there is no fear factor. The psycho killer is just the scenario for why you're locked in the room. There is a 'cage' with some bones and scratches on the wall that could be scary for young kids but fear is not really part of the game. Good luck!!

Fantastic place! My friends flew out to Boulder to visit and had never done an Escape Room before. They initially thought it was going to be lame, but after we beat it, they were so amped up they wanted to come back and do another one!

Our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 teenagers) had fantastic time escaping the Psycho Killer's escape room. My two teenage boys were skeptical at first and not too enthusiastic, but within 5 minutes of starting they were all very much into the game and finding clues and solving the puzzles. It was a perfect blend of looking for clues and putting the pieces together. Very well designed. Everyone in our family contributed well and saw things others didn't think of. Excellent team building activity. The thrill of solving a puzzle does not get old!! :) Highly recommend.

This was my wife and I's first escape room, and we had a blast! Challenging but fair puzzles. Lots of "aha" moments. As it was our first room I can't compare it to any others, but this was just what I was hoping for. And Connor, our "psycho killer", was a fantastic host.
We'll be back to try another room for sure.

We escaped from Psycho Killer and had so much fun we immediately tried the Abduction and escaped from that room too! Good clues, fun set up and friendly staff.

"Psycho Killer" was our fourth escape room, and our favorite. We felt that all of the puzzles, while challenging, were fair. The employee who set it up and did our orientation was great - helpful and enthusiastic. Really the only nitpick I have is the presence of a tip jar very prominently on the counter. It is the business's responsibility to pay their good employees a good wage. Anyway, we had a great experience and look forward to going back sometime.

We had a blast celebrating a birthday there. We had five people and went during the day so we had the place to ourselves. It was so much fun. The host/murderer was perfect - friendly, funny, and helpful when we needed it since it was our first time in an escape room. The props are excellent and good quality, rooms well thought out, and clues very clever. We hope to make a repeat visit at the end of this month with guests from Australia! And the host took a great photo of our group afterward using my cell phone. Kudos to him!

This room is just one block off the Pearl Street Mall - making it a perfect thing to do on a summer day - hit the room, solve some puzzles, and then shop or grab a bite to eat.
The room that we did featured a few interesting puzzles and twists that we hadn't seen in other rooms, we were able to escape, but with only a few minutes to spare. The game master kept checking in with us, even when we didn't need clues, which was a bit distracting.
The lobby includes some great props and funny things that were fun to use for the celeratory photos after we solved the game.
