Horseback Riding in Estes

Fun experience. Did the two hour ride but think one hour would have been perfect. Ashley was a great tour guide and you can tell she loves horses.

Weird that the location says Boulder because this was for sure Estes park. Only 2 of us out of 8 had every been on a horse so is was a first time experience. He coaches and ride leaders were very professional in teaching us what to do. Once we were on the horses pretty much took it from there. The... More

We did the three hour ride and the views were gorgeous. The trails are well ridden and can be scary for first time riders. We didn't get to see a lot of wild life, which was disappointing, but the ride was excellent. The horses are well mannered, for the most part, and easy to ride. The guides are excellent and... More

We went on a 3 hr ride through Estes Park. Scenery was beautiful and our guide, Kate, was wonderful. My husband and 17 year old daughter had a fabulous time. I on the other hand was put on horse named, Costello, that I was told when we started was pot-bellied so his saddle will not stay in the middle when... More

We did the steak dinner package and enjoyed it despite hail storm that came just as dinner was beginning. Horses were gentle and trail was enjoyable. Wonderful to be able to enjoy nature at its finest. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time at Sombrero Ranches. The staff are so friendly and helpful. One of the guests became ill while we were there and they went out of their way to bring them back to the ranch via a truck. You are in groups of 7-8 and take a lazy ride up and down the mountains. Ask to... More

...this probably wasn't the way to do it. I should have started small, but I tend to jump in headfirst... This is indeed mountain horseback riding: lots of ups, lots of downs, lots of steep ledges, and lots of trust that your horse doesn't want to fall any more than you do. (Being a bit hyperbolic for comedic effect, there,... More

This Estes Park location is open all year long. The nice looking horses are saddled and ready and the staff is friendly. The best thing is that they have an outfitters license that allows them to go into the Rocky Mtns. It's not just a forest or mountain ride. They have (optional) two meal stops offered, to chose from; breakfast... More

Three of us enjoyed a 1 hour ride at the Estes Park location. The horses were sweet and the trail ride seemed very authentic for us "city slickers!" The views were beautiful!

We found a Groupon to use for riding in Rocky Mountain National Park. It was a great deal and allowed our whole family to ride. The person taking reservations was very helpful. I had to speak with her many times and she was always pleasant. We took the two hour ride. The ride was great. The guide gave us good... More
