It was disappointing to see it closed for the season due to icy roads and falling rocks. Ended up hiking another trail, so make sure to check if it is open before you go.

Always people rock climbing in this canyon. It's also a great drive on the way to Nederland or Estes Park. The water falls are all along the creek. It's really good in May and June when the snow melt is coming down form the mountains.

Beautiful area as you drive North This falls has been closed for some time due to erosion issues and rock slides. Spoke with one of the workers who was hauling rocks to sure up areas that are not safe and hope to reopen in Spring 2017. The method of revitalizing the area is difficult because it is all manual labor... More

Went and it's fenced off. Been closed since 2013 from a rock slide and not opening any time soon. Don't bother as of now as if you hop the fence you could be fined.

As of now the trail is still closed however if you do get a chance to go it's definitely worth an afternoon outside and beautiful nature!!! It's a great little hike not too difficult and the scene is beautiful.

The trail to the falls is closed due to damage incurred during the 2013 flood event. During the spring runoff the falls are marginally impressive but soon dwindle to only a moderate flow. Hike to Ouzel Falls in RMNP for a much better experience!

Visited on August 13, 2016. The drive there was very beautiful. We passed a lot of rock climbers on the way there. When we pulled up, we noticed a lot of people standing at the rail near the entry point. Turns out the pathway to falls were CLOSED. We saw a number of teens who had hopped the gate and... More

This is a great short hike to the beautiful falls and very close to Boulder; only a few miles up Canyon Drive. There are steps but very doable for children but wheelchair accessible. Check before you go as often the trail is closed due to rain or mud

Boulder Falls is CLOSED! If you are caught inside you can get a $250 ticket for trespassing. The trail was damaged in the flood of 2013 and there are still loose rocks that can injure hikers. Please look from the road and don't endanger yourself or others.

Located a few miles up Boulder Canyon from the city of Boulder, this roadside stop displays the power and beauty of nature. Nice view from the road, but there are also paths down to the water
