Sweet little falls right along the Boulder Canyon highway up from Boulder to Nederland. Some parking right there. Closed. (city of Boulder website says: Boulder Falls Trail and the area around Boulder Falls remain closed. We were looking for things to do in Boulder and the Falls showed up on the "top things to do" list. We drove up the mountain and pulled over when we got there. There was a sign posted that it was closed but there were a lot of people who were going on the trail so we decided to go... More

Keep driving! Nothing special here. The Rockies have so much more to offer. Visit RMNP or Indian Peaks Wilderness.

We were really disappointed to find the access to the falls closed when we tried to visit in mid-May. There is a bit of a view from the road which is better than nothing, and it's understandable that they can't allow access if the trail is damaged. From what we could see the falls were good, not great, compared to... More

Recently I had family in from out of state and we drove up the canyon to show the kids Boulder falls. They were amazed at its beauty. Kinda scary this time of year because the water's really rushing—so dramatic! It's so close and yet I forget to escape there. Just a wonderful treat...

The trail to Boulder Falls is still closed May 2016 and will not be open at all this year. The trail sustained damage and the potential for falling rocks is very high. Boulder OSMP hopes to reopen the trail in 2017 but there is no set date. It is UNSAFE and ILLEGAL to climb over the barricade. Definitely not worth... More

Easy hike, but not accessible for handicapped. Walked made it to the falls suitable for most seasons and is on Canyon and then there is parking. Great for a day trip and pictures.

This is second attempt at visiting this waterfall and canyon hike. First time last April, the trail was closed due to snow and ice. This time in Feb, the weather has been hot with little snow. The trail was icy at times, but overall a challenging walk with uneven path and steep drop offs. The falls were nothing spectacular, but... More

This short hike is reached by driving west on Canyon about 11 miles to the parking area and then hiking about 1/2 mile to the falls. A fun summer outing, but don't try it in winter, or when there has been a lot of rain in the mountains! Not wheelchair accessible (or walkers either, for that matter, but it's pretty... More

We stopped and walked around a little on the road and took a few pics. The trail to the falls was shut down due to high water levels and fast river currents. Bummer
