If you have children under 5, they can't do the tour. We were all well over that and enjoyed our time here. We had lunch at the cafe. Wonderful gift shop and the tour is so informative. Can't forget the free tea taste testing. The...More

A great part of the tour is that I got to taste test any of their teas before and after the walking tour. The tour itself, takes about 30 minutes, and is interesting. An unexpected bonus was a stop in the Mint Room. Just breathing...More

This was my second visit and I enjoyed it thoroughly both times! It is a bright and cheerful place. When you first arrive, you can sample a variety of teas while you wait for the tour. There is also a neat collection of teapots and...More

This is a great way to spend part of a rainy day and is quite informative and fun too. Be sure to visit the gift shop and the tea tasting room - both are great! Very fair prices in the gift shop.

The Celestial Seasonings factory is about a 10-15 minute drive from downtown Boulder. A tour time reservation is recommended. The guided tour takes about 20-25 minutes, and you will see how the various teas are cleaned, sorted, and packed. The Peppermint room was the most...More

The Celestial Seasonings FREE tea factory tour is terrific. It starts in a rather large tea room where you checkin and are given your tour ticket: a tea packet with 2-3 tea bags inside! Pretty neat! You also get a small cup for tea tasting....More

We visited the tea factory on a Tuesday in March. We ended up arriving about 15 minutes after the previous tour had gone, so we had to sit and wait. No problem! They have teas, both hot and cold, for you to try while you...More

I have a 1 year old and i see it states that only 5 years old and older are allowed in factory floor. Are their other parts of the tour we can go on? What exactly is the tour center? I don't want to show up and can only go to the gift shop.

No. It is a working factory. There are no grounds, etc to visit. It is a working factory. Tasting room would be okay - but nothing for a one year old. Go to Leanin; Tree down the street.

No need for a reservation except for very large groups. I'd give them a call IF you are on a tight schedule or need a special time. Have fun and enjoy. It's a great tour.
