We went to this Canyon recently when we visited Boulder Colorado. When you drive up you have to pay $8 to get in and it's only about a mile long. What I would advise doing is driving inside and go to the parking lot and then park your car and walk... it's not a very hard walk and the scenery... More

Good hike if about 4 miles and 1000' climb. No big steps and suitable for a couple in their late 50's who don't go to the gym that often! Tip. Park in the forth car park up the mountain and save a mile Trail is well marked and easy to follow. Great views from the top

Went to the Canyon with a family member who was a climber. Took a very easy walk on one of the paths. Saw the spots were climbers concentrate (identified by chalk marks on rocks). Very pleasent time close to Boulder

Hiking ranges from easy and gently sloped to steep and rocky. Watching climbers scale the sheer rock walls was an exciting extra. Easily accessible from the Boulder area, though first come - first served admission means you run the risk of driving in but not getting into the park.

worth the trek to check out this and the drive up the mountain to Nederland and Eldora. Many people raft here on the hot days, like a beach in the mountains

Many Boulder visitors don't venture to this state park, just a 3 minute drive south of Boulder, but it is worth every penny of your $8 to drive through. A river, picnic area, high canyon walls, rock climbers, and all kinds of hiking from easy to south facing/warm longer hikes over to Walker Ranch, another hidden gem outside of town.

Beautiful views. Came here with my four year old. She enjoyed walking around here. Coolest part is we saw two people rock climbing. I do not recall the cost but you do have to pay to park.

Wasn't worth it. Free Friday on Black Friday. Parking crush packed with people. This isn't enjoyment of the outdoors. We left and went to Boulder Open Space.

Nice unique views of some red but mostly just giant rock formations. Was a little challenging to get to with GPS. Cost $8 to drive in and park. $3 if you walk in. Trip Advisor picture with waterfall a bit misleading. Many hiking trails if you have the time.

I have been climbing here since the early '80s. It continues to be one of the top climbing areas in the States. Hard to beat running up a climb after work in this wonderful setting.
