A good day’s hike. Short trip from Boulder. Go earlier in the day. Can get pretty dark pretty quick.

I loved the canyon area and scenery, but it is rustic with a capitol R. Driving in and out feels more like trespassing on private land, with no guarantee you'll be able to pass or get back out. Not for delicate, low riding vehicles, you...More

Absolutely beautiful. Fowler trail is easy to handle, relatively flat with amazing vistas and there are so many possibilities for hiking, climbing and biking. There is not a spot in this park that isn't beautiful and photographic.

Elevation change but very much enjoyed the afternoon hike. Great pictures and memory. Make the extra steps to the top of Rattlesnake for a spectacular view of the continental divide.

Really enjoyed our visit to Eldorado Canyon State Park. We tried two of their trails. There is one that is a great trail for all ages. The views are fantastic. We will definitely be taking our kids back here.

There are many levels of hikes in Eldorado Canyon. There are access trails that allow the climbers to walk down from their ascent (these are often steep and precipitous) as well as stroller/wheelchair accessible trails... More
