Situated in the heart of an energetic city is beautiful, historic Downtown Boulder. At the heart of Downtown Boulder is the Pearl Street Mall, a wonderfully charismatic four-block-long pedestrian mall that celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2007. Colorful, bright flowers fill the mall almost the entire year and street performers, with a multitude of talents, make the Pearl Street Mall one of the best people-watching destinations anywhere.

Since I avoid both, I did not find it very interesting. Except for two places: Peppercorns, a very unique store where you can spend hours looking for the perfect eclectic present, and The French Quarter Brasserie & Oyster bar, fine for slow munching.

This space was a pleasant surprise. It was unseasonably chilly but this outdoor mall was very nice. Plenty of people out and about on a Monday, and nearly every shop is open. Well kept and clean, easy to cross the side streets at cut through...More

This place was not on my trip list, but I am so glad we stopped here. There are so many different shops, restaurants (I had a hard time deciding where to eat), and other things to see. Oh, and bookstores! There is a three-story bookstore...More

There is something for everyone to love here - street performers, wonderful shops, a plentitude of restaurants and people watching. The flowers are beautiful spring to fall.

I am not one to walk around shops, however I was impressed with the range of cool and quirky shops this place had to offer. It was pretty good.

Wow, what a wonderful way to explore the many local shops and restaurants. Boulder is a fun place and Pearl Street has so many fun shops to visit. We especially loved the artisan jewelry with unique earrings, necklaces, etc. Definitely a must during a visit...More
