We conveniently met in our hotel lobby, tried out bikes and went off towards the river. Wendy was a great guide, helping us with hand signals and stopping along the way to provide insight into the history of Boulder. Easy casual bike ride followed by fun hike with great views of the city! We went on a short fun rock scramble and then back to our bikes. Roughly 2.5 hours - very carefree and easy. Wendy gave us good recommendations and advice on Boulder. Overall a fun way to see sights, orient oneself with the city, and exercise! Highly recommend! 👍🏻💪🏻🙌🏻

Let me start by saying we have done several bike and brew tours in many different cities. I will start this honest review from the beginning. We received an email and were told to arrive 10 minutes before our scheduled time. We arrived 15 minutes before, and asked two separate store employees where we were supposed to meet the guide. Neither of the employees knew anything about the tour, so we didn't connect with our guide until I texted him. The bikes we received were uncomfortable, the brakes made squeaking noises when depressed, and one of our bells didn't work. Our guide was really knowledgeable about the area and recreation. He was very friendly and we stopped at a few scenic places that we would not have normally seen. We went to 3 breweries altogether. Our experience with past tours is that usually the breweries know you are coming and have something set up for you - a flight, some background on the brewery or even a discount on the beer. None of the breweries knew about the tour, and did not offer anything additional. Since our guide did not drink beer and could not make recommendations, we just walked up to the counter and ordered what we thought sounded good. All three of the breweries we went to were at the very end of the trip. One we even walked to from the other. It would have been nice to have them spread out a little more throughout the tour. Although we stopped at 3 breweries, it felt more like just a bike tour.

Hi Kerry, so sorry to hear you were disappointed and thanks for the honest feedback. I agree with you on most points and I wish I could convince the breweries to spread out more :) or re-open all on the same days at least. Someday I also hope to have my own fleet of comfortable hybrid bikes, but for now I am stuck with the city bikes at only bike rental shop left. Occasionally we can use comfortable beach cruisers but the drawback is that they have no gears. I will continue to work on those goals, however, and hopefully much will improve as the economic grip of COVID loosens. Thanks so much!

So sorry this is so late Wendy, but I promised I would share a review. So, for someone who never reviews anything, this is a testament to how much we enjoyed the tour. The tour was perfect for us. We were celebrating our anniversary with another couple, and were in town to Party! While we had the evenings covered with Boulder's many great restaurants and bars, we wanted something to do during the day instead of lingering in the sports bars watching football. The bike tour was the perfect mix for us. We were outside enjoying a beautiful afternoon. The bike trail was smooth, scenic and easy enough for all skill/fitness levels. Basically, a scenic comfort cruise with a dash of local history, conversation and education of the Mead/Beer industry. Although I believe Wendy can customize the tour, we started at the Redstone Meadery. We then hit the Sanitas and Kettle & Spoke breweries. Since we had a small group, we insisted Wendy bring her husband along so we had six. I'm sure she can suggest days for your group based on if you want a larger raucous group or a smaller more intimate setting. Thank you Wendy and Kristian for a great day! I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves socializing and great craft beer. It makes a beer tasting into a fun adventure. Cheers

After an afternoon with Wendy on the Brew Tour we got a real feel for the Boulder vibe and some interesting factoids along the way. It wasn't just the things we saw but the people we met. Wendy drew other locals into our experience and made it seem like we were a Boulderian for a day. She made the trip fun and real. It wasn't just being guided around town, a good map could do that, but a good map can't draw you in to the beat of the town. Her spirit and energy were infectious and elevated our day. Big thumbs up! Highly recommended.

We had an amazing afternoon with Wendy! We did the Views & Vines Tour and I would highly recommend. Wendy was a fantastic host. We toured around and before we knew it we were tasting wonderful local wines. I am a local, however Wendy took us to places I have not ventured before. I would highly recommend the tour for both locals and tourists!! I cant wait to do the Bike & brews tour!
