We stopped by the convent for a walk around the grounds after visiting the Collingwood Children’s Farm next door. My children ages 4 and 5 were fascinated with the old buildings and learning about what the convent was for. We went exploring and we read the plaques of what the different rooms were for. There is also a lovely garden area that you can sit and relax and enjoy the sun or a lovely picnic. I definitely think this is a lovely place to come and see as it is filled with a wonderful and interesting history.

saturday afternoon , visit it by pass.a good place to visit and relax for a cup of coffee. enjoy sunshine on the grass. suitable for couple and family. will come back again . 非常喜欢这里,躲避城市的喧闹,享受祥和的日光和微风。散步在修道院旁,想象历史的痕迹。品味时光留下的点点滴滴,一切都非常美好。

In the past i was an exhibitor here 4 or 5 times and got to know the inside of the exhibition spaces. I always wanted to visit as a tourist and got the opportunity today. My wife and i spent about an hour perusing the grounds around the convent taking a leisurely stroll down to the Yarra river. This was just enough to whett our appetites for a future visit to do more of the walking trails which I'm sure will prove enticing.
