We love escape rooms and have been to this one 4 times with different family and friends. Would absolutely recommend giving it a try! The employees and owners are great and you can tell they put a lot of thought into their rooms!

I love escape rooms and after hearing about this room I have tried to get a group together for a few years now. We did condemned with a group of 10 and it was amazing. Easily one of my favorite if not all time favorite room that I have done. The theme is on point and all of the puzzles are fair and well maintained. One of the issues I have had in the past with other rooms at other companies is things feeling out of place or puzzles not functioning well. This is a HARD room by the way but like I said very fair. I would not recommend it for your very first room unless you don't mind coming back a second time. Very well done and I look forward to another room from them.…

Going through and updating my old reviews as we move them over to our new stack rank website, theroomrank.com! Check it out to see how these rooms compare to the other 125+ rooms we've done across the United States. Condemned 2 - 5/5. Condemned 2 has held up surprisingly well over time. The room had a very large and intricate set for serial killer rooms, and the level of puzzle integration with a set of this size was impressive. This is a difficult room that really kicks your butt, but is to this day still a very memorable experience that has edged out the Enchambered rooms as our favorite room in Sacramento. While the Enchambered rooms had better set design, Condemned 2 was just a much better game, and better games generally hold up better over time. Fox Tail Saloon - 3/5 (A decent room). Never wrote a previous review for this, so here's a short one for it. Fox Tail Saloon is more of a light adventure that shows off a fun, wild west saloon set than it is an escape room. The room has a decent amount of puzzles, but they're fairly basic. The set and ambiance were good, but there weren't really enough story moments for me to really remember what happened in the room. Still a reasonable room, just not one that enthusiasts will find particularly interesting. Great for beginners though! (Previous Review) I've done ~40 escape rooms so far across the Bay Area / Seattle, and heard great things about Condemned 2. I was a bit hesistent to make the 40 min drive up from Sacramento as that would add 1.5 hours of travel to our Sacramento trip, but it ended up being worth the drive, and I would recommend doing so for enthusiasts and newbies alike. Condemned 2 Overall: 4.5/5. With great immersion and good puzzles, this is a room that will challenge you and likely push you to the limits. This room was really designed for enthusiasts given the difficulty and systems that it uses: if you attempt the full room (smaller groups can attempt half the room), you really should bring 8-10 players, since there is a ton of content packed into these rooms. There are some puzzles that beginners can help out with, but I'd strongly recommend bringing some more experienced people and/or trying to do some other rooms before attempting this one. Immersion: 4.5/5. If you like a room themed suspiciously similar to the SAW movies, this is the room for you! The intro video was very well produced and set the tone for the rest of the room, and while its probably easier to find props for a warehouse / serial killer room than say a fantasy room, the rooms have a ton of custom props and really makes the most out of the SAW style theme. There aren't any jump scares so you don't need to be worried about that, but the overall atmosphere did make you feel like you were in a SAW-style movie. In particular, there were two large interactive parts of the room that I was very impressed with, as I have not previously seen set pieces of such large scale utilized to that effect. The puzzles were all nicely on theme as well, though there wasn't a lot of story progression, and the room falls into the trap of collecting arbitrary object sets like many other rooms. One set of objects was fun and interacted well with the room: the other set of objects felt sort of arbitrary. Puzzling: 4/5. The puzzles themselves were all solid, but there were some other quirks that detracted from it. One of the puzzles was incredibly annoying to solve, as it required tediously inputting three different things that was error prone. A couple of puzzles also were much harder than standard puzzles, and felt like the leaps of logic were perhaps a tad too much. The hint system here is surprisingly mean: they give you 6 hints free, but subsequent hints remove 2 minutes from your allotted time. Most escape rooms have moved towards unlimited hints to allow everyone to get a chance to see the entire room, but this system seems to instead punish slower groups for taking hints. They also have this strange "final sacrifice" mechanic that voluntarily sacrifices a player to get some additional time - I'm not sure if this really added anything to the room though it was amusing, and probably could have been removed to streamline the experience. One of the puzzles also had a hidden object component, which was difficult to find because of the lack of lighting in the rooms. The lighting added to the immersion, but detracted from the puzzling as it made certain parts much harder than it should be. Personal Stats: Went in with 5 enthusiasts. Completed 80% of the room but did not finish it.…
