Domaine Chandon was the first winery to be established in the United States by a French wine and spirits producer, Moet Hennessy. Today, Chandon is America's leading sparkling wine producer, applying methode traditionnelle techniques to showcase the ripe fruit and vibrant character of California. We host educational and fun tours of our winery and offer light food options in our tasting room or on our extensive terrace.

GREAT place, lovely and delicious champagne style winery; perfect first stop in a day long tasting tour. Gorgeous grounds, sit in Adirondack chairs overlooking property; magnificent!

We visited the patio several years ago. It is still one of my favorite spots I've ever been in Wine country. We ordered oysters and a tasting of champagnes. The view is incredible and we found ourselves lingering and staying for the rest of the day. I suggest having an uber or a driver- because the oysters and champagne go... More

My reason for being in Yountville was not a pleasant one. My husband was place in the Veterans Home right up the road from from Chandon. But, finding Chandon, and the friendly "Chandon family" made my visits much more pleasurable. I love their sparkling wines and always bring some home with me. Of course, we joined their club.

After tasting a lot of red wine, Chandon was a nice change! They have a great selection of sparkling wines, including Rose. The other nice thing about this winery is that they do have some food, which is always nice! The views are fantastic and they have a well stocked store in the bottom of the property. The tasting room... More

My favorite sparking wine is the Red sparkling they sell only at the winery. Nice grounds and very relaxing atmosphere. Nice little gift shop on property as well. Go on a weekday when it is not so busy if you can. You will enjoy it more.

We stopped in for a quick tasting - only had 20 minutes. Staff was very accommodating and we did the prestige tasting of etoile Brut and etoile Rose. You can take your glass outside and sit overlooking the garden. Very enjoyable. Little shop downstairs if you're after some wine themed souvenirs eg glasses, corkscrews etc.

The bubbles were delicious... maybe not my very favorite Cali sparkling, but the setting more than makes this stop worth it. This is also one of the few wineries that serves food, and we had a delightful lunch to accompany our sparkling Rose tasting. A fun stop.

We came on a Saturday afternoon and there were 2000 people there. Go on a different day...Beautiful grounds, nice tasting room, deck worth the visit on a slower day.

Pretty location and property, but too many young, drunk people tasting. It was nice to walk the grounds and take in the scenery, but it felt like a place where younger people could go to drink inexpensively.

Of all the tastings/tours we did in the Napa Valley - this was our favorite. Karly, who was our "ambassador" was amazing. She was so passionate, thorough and friendly. Chandon tours go through everything a large vineyard has (bottling, tank rooms, vines, etc..) The whole tour was very educational for wine enthusiasts. Again. ask for Karly - you won't be... More
