V Marketplace is the original icon of specialty retail in northern California's wine country. One of the first wineries in the Napa Valley, Groezinger Winery was built in 1870 and continued operating as a winery until 1955. This lovely old brick building was destined to be sold and torn down for the price of its bricks, but a small group of visionaries purchased it and lovingly restored the building and it now houses specialty shops, art galleries and three restaurants including Emmy-award winning Chef Michael Chiarello's fabulous and much touted rustic farm-to-table Italian cuisine restaurant Bottega. NapaStyle offers a wine tasting bar and V Wine Cellar is one of the most complete wine cellars of the Napa Valley. V Wine Cellar offers an inviting wine environment that will please novices and aficionados alike with a choice of a wine bar or a cozy lounge where guests can savor and experience the world of wine with expert advice from a knowledgeable staff. V Marketplace is home to Napa Valley's original hot air balloon company which launches daily, weather permitting from the property. V Marketplace is Napa Valley's most beautiful and inviting specialty retail complex located in the world renowned epicurean hamlet of Yountville, surrounded by lush picnic gardens, beautiful water features and meandering cobblestone, special events and entertainment are scheduled year round.

Yountville is the first town of any size that you encounter on your drive up the Napa Valley and the V-Marketplace is a good place to begin your tour. Owned by Michael Chiarello, it has parking to the side, or you can park on the...More

The V Marketplace is a collection of various shops. I'm not sure why we stopped here as the last stop on our Napa Valley Country Wine Tour. The driver told us that there was wine tasting in the building on the end, but clearly there...More

V marketplace in Yountville is in the perfect location. After visiting Napa last week we decided when we go back we would definitely stay in downtown Yountville or St. Helena as they are cute little towns with amazing restaurants and shopping. V marketplace in Yountville...More

Nice little cluster of shops nestled behind the main street shops. 2 levels. A variety of specialist shops that would cater for most needs. Worthwhile to check out.

The V Marketplace is an eclectic mix of shops, some quite unique! For myself, found Domaine Home & Garden to have one of the nicest selections of wine related (and other things) items & gifts; V Wine Cellar had a nice selection of local wineries;...More

Nice collection of small shops and boutiques. Some tourist shops and some nice clothes. Our favorite is the toy store in the second floor that had lots of fun items to bring back to your kids. It's a nice diversion from wine tasting!

The complex is old but updated. Stores are average and some interesting merchandise. Limited signage so we missed some 2nd floor stores. Not much seating to wait. Cool inside on hot day. Lines at restrooms outside and pavers difficult for walking. Probably would not return.

We were looking forward to our visit to the V Marketplace. It is a restored building with an interesting history but unfortunately, the shops were not that special. The building is showing a little wear and tear with its beat up narrow wooden stairs (not...More

It's quite a fascinating place to visit. The old brick structure has a host of stalls inside more in the fashion of up-market boutiques, artist studios, gourmet foods, wine tastings and fine dining. One can walk through marveling at the different kinds of goods on...More

Stopped by after brunch at a local eatery. Not many stores to choose from but it was a nice short stop. A visit to Koller chocolates is a must - great for souvenir gifts, and some for you too.
