We had a wonderful time led by our guide Paul. It was a nine mile ride with two winery stops. There was no time pressure or sales pressure. The weather happened to be perfect too. All of us loved it.

This tour was a perfect excursion. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, the tour was very organized – they had our bikes ready according to our heights (which we gave them beforehand), and the scenery is hard to beat!

My boyfriend and I opted for the cheapest option: $45 per person to rent a hybrid bike for the day, and we mapped out our own route completely, without the help of the tour company. I enjoy planning this type of thing, so it wasn't a big deal for me. But I will say it requires some research to pick... More

Each time I have been to Napa, I have done this bike tour. The first time we did a private tour with a large group of us that included lunch, and the second my husband and I did the morning tour without lunch. Each time was SO much fun. The guides are friendly and fun and have great knowledge of... More

For us was the 1 day of our week vacation... And it was the best way to start knowing about the valley, and of course about Wine. The 3 wineries were very good, specially the service. I will give 2 thumbs up to our tour guide James; he made the ride very pleasant and enjoyable. The lunch at the 2nd... More

My husband and I took the biking through the vineyards tour in October. It was amazing. The guide was very knowledgeable and concerned about our comfort and getting the fit of the bikes and helmet just right. The first part of the tour is kind of strenuous with hills and riding through an actual vineyard. Some biking experience is helpful... More

Wine tasting in Napa sounded very intimidating with hundreds of vineyards to choose from. So we thought we would let the locals choose for us and get some exercise in the bargain. We went with the Bike Through the Vineyards which was really super! Great local guide giving a lot of background to the area. Beautiful seeing the vineyards up... More

While my husband is definitely active, I am only moderately so. But I had no problem keeping up on our bike tour through Sonoma. We were originally planning on riding in Napa but a friend advised before we left that if we haven't been to Sonoma then we should try that instead. The roads do not have as much traffic... More

We enjoyed our 2 days of tours! It was a great way to experience the wineries, that is getting fresh air and exercise between the tastings. The scenery was amazing. Overall it is a well run company with attention to detail (our bikes had our names on them). Some other thoughts: A. Our tour guides were very different. The second... More

4/5 stars would seem like an awesome review, and we're delighted these guests has a great time overall, but there are three things in this review that are actually not true and more importantly, do not reflect the way we do business. 1) These guests were not bumped off a tour the last minute, nor would we "bump" any guests... For the 2nd straight October I made Napa Valley Bike Tours a part of my Wine Tasting Experience. Last year I took one of their wine tasting tours with my wife and when all of those tours were booked for this trip I merely rented bikes and did a self-directed Tour. Although I am used to riding a Trek Madone... More
