One of the best bike services we have used ever. The staff is very friendly and informative. The staff gave us clear information on all the routes and even gave us great restaurant recommendations. The bikes were very well maintained. I strongly recommend using this company for renting or buying bikes in the Napa Region.

Five Stars for GREAT customer service at Napa Valley Bike Tours. I am a local who lives in Yountville, CA and I had a flat tire on my bike Kelly referred me to the Napa Valley Bike Shop Service Dept in Napa. Bert and Jeremiah provided excellent service and were able to fix my tire on the spot also delivery back to Yountville where I live.
I would highly encourage locals to go to the Napa Valley Bike Shop in Napa for bike repairs they have a great service department.
I would recommend tourist to go to the Napa Valley Bike Tours the best in the Napa Valley I always hear great reviews by tourist when I am out bicycling in Yountville.

We rented standard bikes from the Napa bike shop. We’d booked and completed a waiver online. Collecting the bikes was super easy - a very efficient and friendly operation. The bikes were good quality with a map mounted on the handlebars and a front bag for storage.

We cycled out to Yontville on the wine trail path. The path is of a high standard and is flat. It starts off in an industrial area, transitioning to urban and then out into wine country. Easy ride to Yontville of about an hour. Coming back we cycled across to Silverado and headed back down towards Napa parallel to the wine trail but a couple of miles to the east. That was more scenic than the wine trail but on the road (albeit mainly with a decent marked bike lane). It was a much harder ride back into a stiff headwind and, being later in the day, it was much hotter. There was also an incessant roar of traffic going past. I’d recommend doing a ‘there and back’ on the wine trail, rather than the Silverado loop.

A good way to see some famous wine country up close.

The tour was nice and Rutherford winery was small quaint and very accommodating to the 5 drenched riders. We continued to ride on our own. I burrowed a pair of pants from my friend who had a rear rack. The bikes had no mirrors and mine had a broken bell. I had an E XS bike the e-bike was nice to help speed up during a heavy rain. Other bikes that were not XS had a rear bumper and rack. I ended up with dirt up my back. It would have been great if they could have dropped off a bag of dry clothes at the winery. The van did show up at the winery but no added accommodations or extra plastic for shoes or seats and no plan for a change of clothes. They had heavy rain coats but they offer them to us. Another couple ended their day early due to being drenched. It could have been avoided with the rain coats and gear they had in a bucket

I'm so sorry we failed to ensure your comfort on a rainy day. Your group arrived seemingly well dressed for the weather conditions - we even joked about your coming prepared from the East Coast. That apparently led to a mistaken assumption that you didn't need additional rain gear. I'm sorry you were not offered rain jackets. Our team was not aware that you had an additional dry bag of clothes. Had we known, you van support definitely could have brought this bag to the winery for you. Thankfully, the sun cam out and it was great to see you and your friends enjoy some additional riding after your tour. On behalf of our team, I apologize for where we failed to anticipate your needs. My wife and I rented road bikes and rode a suggested 40mi loop around the area - it was awesome from start to finish. The bikes were ready when we got there, they fitted them quickly and professionally, and the super friendly staff got us on our way (with directions) very quickly. My wife got a no-charge bike upgrade due to availability, and DI-2 was a cool experience. The only thing better than the awesome bikes and service was the Oakville Grade downhill :)

We wanted to spend a day bike riding between vineyards and doing wine tastings, and Napa Valley Bike Tours did not disappoint! Bike rentals for the whole day were a great price, and their customer service is top notch! When I needed to switch days due to travel they were incredibly accommodating. Bikes are in good condition and they even provide helpful maps for biking around Napa/Yountville to take with you. Made for a perfect day!

My wife and I reserved two non E bikes for February 27 from the Yountville location. We did not need a tour since we know the area well. On line reservations were very easy and we were provided email updates and along with options. We were fortunate to have a Chamber of Commerce type of day; temperatures in the mid 70s, sunny, no wind and beautifully green. We even came across some fields of Mustard Plant that have survived along Yount Mill Road. We mostly stuck to the Vine Trial but did venture off on to some other side roads. We stopped for nice outdoor lunch at Southside when passing back through Yountville at the mid part of our day and capped the day off at Domain Chandon with no reservation for a personal bottle of sparkling water. Return of the bikes was very easy. All in all it was a great experience. Our next trip we will likely pack a lunch in our backpack to give us even more flexibility.

We rented bikes in Napa and biked to Yountville on our own. The route was flat and easy to ride via the wine trail bike route. The bikes were Specialized and in good condition. Friendly service from both Napa and Yountville staff.
Just a tip for other winery visitors; though I had read that booking was mandatory for many wineries, we had hoped we could pop in here and there to buy a glass of wine, as the idea was to try several wineries and not just one (tastings are 4-5 wines), but everywhere we went, they were fully booked. Finally we found our way to Robert Sinskey winery, who welcomed us and other walk-ins.

We did a one day rental of hybrid pedal bikes. Reservation and waivers were easily done online and in advance. The staff member was friendly and personable, great to understand our cycling abilities and interests, then make recommendations accordingly. The bikes were good quality. They had solid rubber tires, so there was no risk of a flat, but we found them a bit harder to pedal. We were given a phone number to call if we needed roadside assistance, which was reassuring, even though we didn’t need to use it. We particularly liked the maps provided that we could insert in water resistant sleeves attached to the handlebars, so the chosen map was always readable on-the-go. We rented from the Younteville location and cycled several of the loops north of there through wine country. We started at 8:30 in the morning on a Sunday, so traffic was minimal.
The Vine Trail south to Napa was a bit disappointing, compared to the other loops shared with traffic There was not that much to see and it ran along the busy highway with lots of stoplights to slow us down while we pushed a button and waited for a walk light.

Napa Valley bike tours service was excellent from the beginning. Giving fantastic advice to help plan our self guided tour, to delivering a delicious lunch at our second choice of winery, with the added bonus of picking up our purchases along the way. It was a brilliant concierge service. The bikes were in excellent condition and the staff were a delight to work with. We covered 23 miles and 3 wineries and it really was the perfect way to appreciate the wonderful scenery along the way. Cannot recommend highly enough!
