Easy drive. Close but not the best

The drive is nice. No windy mountain driving. Easy to get to. There's a tubing park a little further up the road. Ticket lines are not long but they take FOREVER! I waited 20 mins... read more

We went there last weekend. The process to reserve a spot for a group of 50 was a disaster. A torture!!! We emailed since the beginning of January. Emailed so many times, very poor response . Called them and left a message on group sales several times , and when you finally get someone , they keep on saying they were... More

The drive is nice. No windy mountain driving. Easy to get to. There's a tubing park a little further up the road. Ticket lines are not long but they take FOREVER! I waited 20 mins with only 3 people in front of me. Line for equipment rentals is horrible. Small room with multiple checkpoints. First get paper printer then get... More

My sister's house is in Palmdale, CA and this snow-covered area is just an hour away. So if one desires to do some outdoor activities in winter such as skiing, tubing, snowboarding or just simply enjoying the snow, this place is very near and need not require staying overnight in the place. Although there are lodges, hotels and restaurants in... More

There was a snow storm late last week. So, this holiday weekend (MLK) is an amazing time to snowboard, ski & just have a snow fight with family & friends. It was three to four feet of snow. We had a ball! Can't wait to do it again.

The pull over here was worth a thousand photos. At this point along the SR 2 is when you begin to get some significant hardwood in the forest and fall colors in all directions.

I only live about 1/2 hour from the town of Wrightwood so it was a little jaunt from my house. The weatherman promised a new storm would hit the next day, so I came up the hill to catch some photo's. The sun was out and the sky was blue, what more could you want! The hill was almost deserted,... More

This resort is crowded with man made snow, which is expected of Southern Calfornia ski resorts, mainly due to weather. However, it is a great and easy drive from LA, with no mountain driving at all.

For those who have trouble driving mountain roads this is the easiest one to drive to in the socal area no switchbacks. I only goto this resort if there has been alot of natural snow. The resort is split into three areas the east resort is setup with long crusing runs, west resort has shorter runs and snowboard terrain parks,... More
