Came in from Utah for the weekend and did a trail run here. Beautiful views and great opportunity to see the Redwoods. There’s ample parking, a children’s play area, and flushable toilets. Even with the trail run on a Saturday, it wasn’t very busy, either.

This park really is a hikers paradise, with a host of designated trails. We had a baby with us so only did a short hike but it was lovely. Recommended.

If you have time to kill before a flight, have transport and like hiking this is a great option. The rangers are most helpful and there are plenty of trails to choose from. Easy to difficult all within a redwood forest.
