I highly recommend Six Rivers Rafting! My family and friends had an amazing time. We had 2 kids ages 7 and 10 in our raft and they said it's a million % fun! Our guide Niko from Chile was beyond amazing. He is extremely knowledgeable and highly skilled (he's a rafting teacher in Chile). He made us feel safe with two little ones in our raft and made it extra fun! I've been to a several class 3 white water rafting trips in the American River and Flathead River and Niko was the best guide I've ever had. He even dove at the bottom the river and found my friend's Apple watch after it came off his wrist from cliff jumping. He definitely went above and beyond and we're very happy with Niko! What sets Six River Rafting apart from the competition is the adventure filled itinerary and the fun and experienced guides. We started our day floating on the Trinity river learning the basics and went on class 1-2 rapids. We cliff jumped and hiked to a waterfall right before delicious cold cuts, smoked salmon, veggie wrap sandwiches were served. Home made salsa, hummus and fruits were available as starters and the best brownies on the Trinity were provided as dessert. After lunch, we hit several class 3 rapids which did not disappoint. The highlight of the trip is jumping off our boat and swimming through Hell's Hole (class 3 rapid). There were several opportunities throughout the trip to swim and cool off as well. Everyone at Six Rivers Rafting were very friendly, helpful and fun!

This week we did a half-day rafting experience on the Trinity River with 6 Rivers Rafting in Junction City, and had the BEST time! The trip included a bit of everything - relaxed, scenic stretches when we just soaked in all the beauty and serenity (including a family of deer on the shore, and numerous pond turtles as well). There were several places where we could choose to get out and swim, and/or jump off 10' & 15' rocks into the river. There were also several class II and class III rapids to get the adrenalin going and make the excursion memorable. Sophia was an awesome guide! Her instruction was thorough, she checked in with each of us to know the kind of experience we wanted to have, and then she delivered! Our raft had people from 12 to 63 years old, and we all got what we wanted. In the swimming areas, I wanted to get out and enjoy the water but was concerned that I wouldn't have the strength (nor the grace) to get back into the raft. At each swimming point, Sophia situated our raft on the shore in such a way that it was easy for me to get back in. I wouldn't have chosen to enjoy the refreshing swims if I had to use my own arm strength to lift myself in. So even though it sounds small, it allowed me to enjoy every part of the day's experience. (Thx Sophia!) The rapids were fun and a photographer captured our experience on one of the craziest ones - and of course, we bought the whole set of our action pictures. We definitely got our money's worth, and want to bring more of our family back again next year.

Fantastic Experience!
This past April my family of 3 had an absolute blast with Pete at Six Rivers Rafting. I personally have been rafting several times and as for my 12 year old daughter’s first time on any river and it was one of the best experiences that I can recall. “Polite Pete” was not only kind and patient but gave clear instruction and guidance all day. He also occasionally graced us with his family friendly humor and witty remarks as well as explanations for the river’s many Class 3 features. The Trinity River is not only gorgeous but right there at the business site. No long drives and no waiting to launch. Gear up and get a solid safety training and we are on our way to a fun afternoon! Pete is extremely knowledgeable about the river and with over 20 years of experience guiding he is easy to trust. Without hesitation I highly recommend Six Rivers to anyone visiting or traveling along the 299 in northern California. I hope to return someday and make another great family memory.

If you are in or near the California Trinity River area, then a half or full day rafting trip is a must with Six Rivers Rafting Company.
I just did a full day with my husband and 2 kids, 10 and 9 years old. Our guide, Adian, was amazing! He was very skilled at rafting and knowledgeable about the local area and animals. Always pointing things out to us and telling us history of the area.
The rafting was fun but without a great guide like Adian the trip would not have been the same, especially for my kids. Adian was so kind and so much fun my kids just had the best time thanks to him. We did multiple stops to rock jump and splash and play in the water. We were on the full day raft trip, so it allowed us to plan our day around what we liked to do, like rock jumping. Adian knew all the best spots. Also, on the full day trip you have a lunch provided by Six Rivers Rafting and it is not just some soggy flat sandwiches and apples. Adain pulled out a table and began to chop fresh fruits and veggies (some home grown in the garden) with sliced cheese, meats and smoked salmon. There was also homemade salsa and hummus with some chips. So good!!!! It was far beyond my expectations.
Thank you, Adian and Six Rivers Rafting Co., I will definitely be back again.

We try to go on a trip with Six Rivers Rafting every summer, and it's an incredible experience every time! They do a great job of creating an adventure that is both thrilling and safe. They take their time, and let the day unfold in a way that feels organic and unhurried. Parts of the trip are relaxing and beautiful. Other parts of the trip are wildly exciting. They make a delicious and nutritious lunch for the all day tour. I can't recommend them highly enough. They are fantastic!

Me and my sons had a fun day rafting. Our guide was superb. Hi Coral! The Trinity river is beautiful and its water quality is so amazing: cold and clear that reflects sunlight and magnifies the river rocks in a special unique way.

Early August was when we went. The river flow was 500 cfs — it gets up to 6,000 cfs in Spring — and was plenty fun. It will still kick your butt. I fell out of the raft on the first two main rapids. I’m like “Come on rookie. Get it together!”

Note: Six Rivers Rafting entrance gate is easy to miss. It’s about 3 miles or so West of the main Junction City general store.

My 14 year old daughter and I had an amazing experience with Shay. Shay was so informative of the ways of the rapids, the history and general knowledge of how the water runs. She was friendly and had an amazing energy to match our fabulous trip on the river. We couldn't have asked for a better guide and a better experience. We even got to see a bald eagle fly right by, plus lots of other birds, turtles and fish along the way. Shay jumped off the rocks at our rest point with my daughter giving my daughter a great experience that I was not comfortable trying. I'd definitely love to go back with my other daughter and we would love to have Shay be our guide again. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing day on the Trinity River with Te'amo! I had so much fun, I came back 3-weeks later and had an equally great experience. Our group loved our river guide, and the whole package. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone looking at rafting for the first time out. On a scale of 1-Wiley, Wiley of course being top notch (10 out of 10), Te'amo was like an 8.5. Can't wait to come back next season. Thank you so much Six Rivers for the great experience all around!

Our SixRivers trip was unforgettable. I took my two teens (13 and 15) on Six River's class III full-day trip as the closeout to our epic tour of 6 national parks this summer. It was so much more than just a river trip. It was the perfect icing on the cake of an amazing camping trip.

Pete is simply put, an amazing human, who knows how to make you feel welcome on and in the water. You will learn respect for the power and beauty of rivers and even delight in some very solid pirate jokes. Not only were we encouraged to have a great time, Pete showed us how to play and revel in what the river has to offer. From jumping off rocks to floating down a natural "lazy river" to even jumping into a RAPID!!! my kids gained confidence in themselves and greater depth in their connection to nature.

And the lunch... wow... just wow, so good. I feel like we lucked out to have found Six Rivers and we just can't stop watching the awesome photo series from talented co-owner Sarah. We will be back as soon as we can.
