Neighborhood: West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.

There are a few shops there and also a nail salon however there is a huge Target that has absolutely everything. Large car park in the basement and easy to take an Uber there too we ended up going twice. It has everything imaginable and at great prices too.

We had a day in LA prior to our Pacific Coastal Cruise. We booked a full day tour of LA on the Rasta Bus (adayinla.com) Great decision! we got to see a lot in just 8 hrs, a fun bus and time to stretch your feet during several stops. Very informative tour guide. They pick you up and return you to your hotel, great feature! If you have a short time in LA this is the way to see it all!

I am a Target shopper so even visiting from NJ, I had to see this Target. The mall here has a very big parking garage so no worries about that. The shops and other stores around seem to be plentiful- everything is here for a shopping excursion! Now the Target itself is very clean, it’s updated, and has a large selection of merchandise. As of writing it was selling California Raspberry Mexican Coke- awesome drink!!! The homely woman at self checkout was the only downer about this store-she was gruff and snotty but I won’t hold it against a wonderful store such as this one. They say celebrity’s shop here but we saw none!
