Nothing exciting about the his place but the name. Closed during the day and not even a peek inside permitted. At night not much going on early evening on a Wednesday. Drinks over priced but can say I've seen it.
I flew to LA to see The Suburbs play at Whiskey-a-Go-Go. Had never been to the infamous club and was excited to check it out. The band sounded great and the room was full of dancing fans - great show, great atmosphere!!
Visited as this place is a rock n roll legend.
We just found it very sanitised and boring. Not much of a rock n roll vibe to us.
"Don't stand on the carpet if you're holding a drink, stay on the dance floor" etc.
My husband being an old "rocker" really wanted to see this place. We checked 1st, took a 1 hr bus ride ,hoping to go for lunch & look around. The place was closed with no hours or details posted. Poor website.
