Fun and convenient

Went here as it was next to our hotel. Paid 15 per person and went through a few comedians and only one was funny in my opinion. Had to buy two drinks each once inside.

I dont usually watch stand up comedy on Netflix but this place has a great lineup of comedians! Looking to have a great time? Drop by The Comedy Store! Make sure you check the schedules!

Attended the Friday night Original room performance which lasted 3 1/2 hours. Great time, lots of laughs and drinks were good.

You cannot go to the Comedy Store and tell me you're not having a good time. It's literally the one place you can go to see Marc Maron during and after the show—while not being stalkery. I would know because he and I made eye contact once and it was incredible. Regulars will notice super-duper star drop-ins like Chris Rock... More

Amazingly funny comics the whole way through. Tickets are inexpensive, two drink minimum is standard but the low price tickets make up for it. Parking is validated at a garage 3 blocks away, but it isn't free. Its discounted from $15 down to $8. However its still cheaper and more reliable than on street parking which is enforced all night.... More

There's always funny people performing here, with big names sometimes stopping by for sets unannounced. However, I don't know if it's worth it for the price and the service. There's about two or three waiters for the entire packed room, so it takes forever to get your drinks/bill. As a previous reviewer mentioned, they keep your card while you're there,... More

This place is a historic landmark and monument of comedy in LA. You can tell by the names on the wall and the pictures. The first night we went to a potluck, and we saw tons of up and coming comics, and some well known ones. We literally laughed the whole time. They have a two drink minimum policy and... More

First time visiting the Original Room, we were seated front and center against the stage -- not "in front," but literally knees-against-the-stage. Marc Maron set his foot on our table and stared down into my husband's eyes at several points during his short set. Intense... And Bobby Lee stroked my husband's cheek a couple of times. (Do I spy a... More

Visited last month with 3 friends to watch a comedy battle. Literally couldn't stop laughing and the atmosphere was top notch! Definitely would go back if I ever return to LA.

Out of 15 comedians we saw i would rate ONE - Dean Del Ray opened the show and i wish he stayed on for the whole show. The rest were average at best. The location is cute and cosy but the drinks are terrible. It costs $20 to get in with a two drink minimum per person. They offer you... More

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
