Always a fun time. I went to the fair last year and it reminded me of all of the years I went there with the kids. It is still a great time.

This fair is so relaxing. People weren't in a hurry. No one dashing in front of you. Lots of entertainment. Very young kid friendly. We went last year and won a redwood patio table from Big Creek Lumber. Table is still in excellent condition.

Some fairs are too small and you've seen everything in an hour or two. Some fairs are too big, with crowds and too much walking and parking hassles. The Santa Cruz County fair is just right. It has everything you go to a fair to see and do. Excellent food choices - you've got to try the Pretzels with lots... More

it is that time of the year- the Santa Cruz County Fair. The main reason I show up is to sample "exotic" foods but no deep fried twinkies nor alligator meat were offered. Just, hamburgers, polish dogs, Chinese food, Mexican food- typical stuff. The photo exhibit is real good as well as the paintings. There is plenty of parking.

There are rides on tractors, hay rides, arts and crafts projects for children, small farm animals and very friendly people. Each month has a special theme with various activities geared to the theme. Every... More

Happening! Safe, fun, helpful people. Parking wasn't too bad and there was help to wave you in. The County Fair is not to be missed.

Horses, cows, pigs and many more. Plus great local food, how can one go wrong. This is a very nice low cost local event that brings back memories.
