We were travelling the national parks in northern California, and came upon this place on our way back to LA for a wedding. The store is beautiful, smells like chocolate, and so quaint. The young woman who helped us was very professional, knowledgable, and overall wonderful. The nuts (all of them), the fudge, the milk shake were all amazingly delicious!!! They also have samples for you to taste test. We live in Chicago, so may not have a chance to visit again. But we will definitely order more nuts and fudge through their on-line website. So glad we found Roberts Ferry Nut Company.

Last fall I took a drive out to RFNC (about 20 minutes from my home) and was pleasantly surprised by the charm of the store, the friendliness and helpfulness of the employees (Vanessa is awesome!), and the variety of items to be found in this small gem of a truly local/family owned business. I have been back at least half-a-dozen times and usually go at least once (or twice!) a month - or whenever I need a RFNC "fix" of goodies - to give or to keep. The samples - they are everywhere and if they don't have something open often times they'll get you a sample. I have made purchases for friends and co-workers and mailed product to family in the mid-west and East coast and EVERYONE raves about the products. Try it - you won't be disappointed (Cinnamon Apple Pecan Caramel popcorn is to die for, as well as the Ranch Almonds, Chocolate Dipped Dried Apricots (NOT dry at all!), toffee, rocky road fudge, and chocolate dipped caramel corn apple rings to name a few of my favorites). Thanks for being so creative - and generous with your time and samples. I will definitely be back - and I usually bring friends with me!

Thank you for reviewing our Country Store! We're so happy you enjoy our products. Your list of favorites is very similar to ours, though we noticed you didn't mention our almond butter milkshakes... if it's possible you haven't had one yet then put it on your list for your next visit!

We stumbled upon Robert's Ferry Nut Company store as we were driving from Modesto, CA to Yosemite National Park. I'm glad I turned around the car. This store sells the nuts they grow--almonds, walnuts, pistachios and even dried fruit. It has numerous varieties of almonds including roasted, candied, and even different types of chocolate covered. The store has nuts available for sampling. The sales person told us the lemon almonds are a best seller, but my absolute favorite is the mint chocolate almonds. We purchased several bags of nuts, and as soon as we walked out of the door we went back in and purchased even more including caramel almond popcorn and almond flour. The company has a website (rfnutco.com). When I came home, I went on the site and was pleased to see that the prices are the same as what we paid in the store. I'm planning on placing a large order for the holidays, so I can give these to friends. If you are going through the area, I definitely recommend stopping; otherwise, visit the website and place an order.
