Excellent concert venue with great facilities. The biggest let down is the service and food options. If you like greasy takeway you won't be worried but if you feel like a healthier option - eat beforehand! Had VIP tickets and were told to queue in...More

The venue is massive! I didn't mind that I couldn't see much from a kilometer off the ground. The sound was amazing! I would have thought some screens up on the roof could have been used to give the cheap seats a bit of a...More

Good venue for myriad shows. But the parking lot is just that upon exiting after the show. Definitely recommend taking public transport - the trains are good - or a taxi.

This is an amazing venue to watch the basketball. The facilities are updated, clean and plenty of them. Lots of exits so there isn't a crush of people leaving. The seats are comfortable and you can see from any angle.

We attended Qudos for the Keith Urban concert and decided to grab dinner before the concert. Choices were very limited for hot food; chips, hotdog and a wagu/chicken or vegetarian burger. I got the chips and wagu burger. Firstly the chips were covered in salt...More

We went to see the Phil Collins concert and were impressed by him, his band and the arena. Security were efficient bag searches not to intrusive and the barcode access moved people through very quickly. Doors and sections are clearly marked so we found our...More

What is the logic in asking that bottle tops be discarded, but a full bottle of water is allowed? The chances of spillage is much higher. Maybe they want us to buy expensive water in the arena.

Amazing venue to watch the fast 4 tennis. There seemed to be lots of space in between seats, not squished in together. Great vibe, quick drinks lines, plenty of toilets and helpful staff. Could see the entire coury from where ever you were seated..

Accommodation options near Olympic Park (2 Replies)
Hi, Me & my Spouse plan to travel to Sydney in Sep 2018 for an event to be held at the Qudos Bank Arena. We intend to book something via airbnb. What are the areas to consider - that is affordable, and easy to commute to the location ?

Food & Drink options near Qudos Bank Arena (3 Replies)
Hi all, From the Qudos Arena they would have me believe there are plenty of food and drink options in the area.. from the forum, you guys tell me otherwise (and I am far more inclined to trust you haha) Basically, I have to fly to Sydney for the night for a show, it would probably be more convenient to go straight from the airport to the Olympic Park area, stay in that region and ideally grab some drinks and food before and after the show in that area... it wouldn't normally be a...More

>>>They don't cope well with big crowds and most of the food is quite pricey<<< +1 Absolutely agree. I suppose it all depends on what you want to eat, and level of dining, but Olympic Park is one of the very few locations in Sydney, where I wouldn't hesitate to suggest dining on a bar menu in a hotel

Hello We are looking for a hotel recommendation in the city that is walking distance to a train that will take us direct to Qudos Bank Arena. I've never posted on this forum before so hope I am doing it right. Pretty clueless with working out Sydney trains etc so any help is appreciated. We're not keen to stay in Olympic park
