The venue was good, but no screens so even on the low tier I could see very little detail of the performers. I'd also like to stronly recommend that if possible Quodos Arena should prohibit the Viagago company from ever being able to sell tickets to any performance. I purchased a ticket through Viagogo, received confirmation, & purchased airfares Cairns to Sydney, accomodation, airport parking etc. & flew from Cairns to Sydney. I arrived at Quodos however despite numerous inquiries during the day Viagago failed to provide my ticket & I was unable to gain entry.

We attended the Elton John concert from out of town and found the experience to be very easy. The transport to and from the venue was easy to navigate, security staff got people in quickly despite the sheer numbers, everything was labeled clearly so that we knew where we were going. The food and drink areas were well set out and the seating provided good views.

We have visited this venue on numerous occasions for a variety of different performances, the latest being Alice Cooper. An excellent venue that easy to get to by public transport as well as being easy to navigate. We never hesitate to book tickets when at this venue.

Apart from the fact the whole area is difficult to get to by public transport or by car, if you're in the seated area it feels impersonal & far removed from the band on stage. This was my first time in the seats after previously being on the floor for a few shows & I don't think I'd bother with the seating ever again.
I don't know why ticket prices are more inflated here than any other Sydney venue, if proceeds are going to the artist that's fine, but I hope it's not to cover for all the staff & security guards, there was way too many staff members & security on hand. There were maybe 5 or 6 staff at each bar area, and at any given time there was 1 or 2 people lining up. Although maybe people weren't lining up because the drinks on offer were terrible quality & overpriced. $10 for a mid-strength bland Heineken is extortionate.
The main artist requested no photos or videos to be taken during their set, which I can respect, but I didn't see why the usher (not a security guard from what I could see) saw fit to threaten several people with ejection for having their phone down & obviously not taking photos, not even during the main act but during the support act. Disrespectful behaviour in my opinion. I've never seen this happen in 20 years of attending gigs. Unacceptable.

We missed first quarter of the Harlem globetrotters because qudos needs Better parking solutions, queued for 40 mins only for the P1 car park to be full. Street parking has been closed off. Catering on-site ran out of hotdogs and chips and other things and queued for so long that we missed 3rd quarter queuing - I felt they weren’t set up for big crowds when this should be their specialty!

Overall the the venue is good but I feel that they could have way more food choices (as someone with autism, I eat a lot of different foods but some days I’m more fussy than others and limited fast food isn’t it for me to be honest). The 3 hotdogs I ate (I know that’s a lot but I was hungry 😂) were good but quite average. The venue is wheelchair accessible which is so important. The Amy Shark concert was so amazing and I’m so glad that I was there to experience it with my mum and my best friend. Yes I would recommend this place but I would eat before going 💕

Easy entry despite a full house and the exit was quick and easy. Staff were helpful and the view of the concert was very good een from the high cheap seats. The only reason not a 5 star rating is the cost of drinks and food - just because you have a captive audience shouldn't mean you can charge anything you want.

ELTON John concert was brilliant and the sound quality was great. The seating apart from right behind the stage had good views of the entire stage. Comfortable seating, entry was easy with no bags and efficient. The ability to get to and away from the venue had obviously been practiced many times and went smoothly.
Prices for food etc would be what you would expect.

The arena used to offer a great variety of food, now it is appalling. Same food at every outlet & all bad. Couldn’t even get a sparkling mineral water or diet soft drink. It’s about time they lifted their game & served decent healthier food & variety of choice. Great venue being let down by food, drink and ease of service.

Yes you can, however there is no direct line and trains have reduced frequency on weekends.

We moved down to the floor . The view from 66 was ok. You could see with binoculars stage and the side screens were large enough to see them
What is the best way to get here from Sydney CBD for a concert on a week day?

I agree totally with the previous answer. Train from Central to Lidcombe, change platforms to the "Olympic Park" platform, exit station, turn right and a short walk 'downhill' from the station there.
You need an Opal card for the train.
Hi, on the website it says you can’t get there earlier than 8am on the day of the show. Anyone been earlier (eg slept over to line up) and not been kicked out?

Re the Paul McCartney Show - as I was a guest, I am unsure how the tickets were bought or how long before the show date. As our seats were assured and we had to collect the VIP package items, we had dinner first, then went to the Show. Also I was told that the evening before, people arriving earlier found the security checks slower due to the number of people entering at that time. I can't answer your question properly.

You will have to check the seating arrangement for the particular concert, Can be found on ticketek or whoever's promoting the events website.
Hi just wondering what is the obstruction like from section 18 row i?
MishMattGabbieLily

I'm it quite sure. I sat in section 12/G with no issues at all. 18 was on the other side off to the left of me. It didn't appear to have any obstructions at all. No poles etc I guess it will depend on what event you're going to they may set up the arena differently for different events.

Just wondering if anyone has ever sat very back row of the third elevation? I just got pink tickets in row N (second last row) and just wanted to know realistically how bad the view is? I've never had tickets that far back before but it was all I could get.
Thanks

I found the worst part of those seats was the reverberation of the sound off the back wall. Was up there once for Green Day.
