The lighthouse is basically in someone's yard. You can walk around the outside and take a picture, but that's it. There are a few gift shops nearby, but we didn't go in.

Each year when we go to North Rustico, when I see the lighthouse, I feel relaxed knowing our vacation has begun....last year I even bought a large framed print of the NR harbour with the lighthouse in it and it hangs in my livingroom.

I got to see this beauty while vacationing with the NJLHS. It was in pretty good condition. If you like lighthouses this won't be a disappointment.

We liked this little Lighthouse. There is nothing there, but the Lighthouse...but we had a good time taking pictures of it to add to our collection. It's right at the end of the road in North Rustico, basically on someone's property.

Some of the nearby buildings are more shabby than characterful otherwise I would give 5star. Access is easy from the town and there are great beaches and restaurants nearby

The lighthouse in North Rustico is a nice place to visit and had a great little gift shop in the main floor. The area around the lighthouse has some lovely views and be sure to head out to the back deck to get a picture...More

No, the lighthouse is still owned by the federal government due to a legal dispute so the group that was going to take it over have not been able to open it to the public. There are some restaurants nearby. The Blue Mussel... More
