The Moonlight Ampitheatre is a spectacular venue for live theater. Their actors and musicians are first rate. The sound is excellent, and the seating comfortable. If you prefer, you can pay a smaller fee, bring a picnic, and sit on chairs provided on the grass between rows of seats. I have had season tickets for many years, and wouldn't give... More

Bravo bravo for the Moonlight Ampitheater venue. Their quality productions parallel those at any larger theater production. It's a great place to bring a picnic dinner or buy food and beverages there. They provide their own chairs for lawn seating but I'd suggest bringing a blanket and/or cushions for any of the seat types in case of colder night weather.... More

What more do I need to say than the title? I will always hold this place dear to my heart for leading me to my future wife. We first dated here. Must see!

The Moonlight has great shows that are well executed and compare favorably with the best theatres across the country. Truly a "hidden gem." The only negative is the long walk to and from the parking lots, although there is a shuttle for those who can't take the walk. Be prepared to wait, however.

You probably won't like this very much. First, it costs $20-30 for a lawn seat for a full scale broadway show with a live orchestra, amazing sound, and actors who truly look like they are loving every moment of the production. Big deal right? Much more fun to pay $100 and sit in the upper deck in a tight chair... More

Our first visit to Moonlight Ampitheatre was to see Big Fish. Once we were through the ticket gate, we entered a magical environment. The lights were twinkling, the weather was beautiful and everyone was in a good mood. Fabulous! We reserved seats which are typical fold down theater chairs. Our view of the stage was great. You can also choose... More

If you did not arrive two to three hours early, you did not get a seat. The graduation was in the afternoon with the sun low in the horizon causing you to look directly into the sun. The docents at the venue were rude and clueless about the issues regarding seating and the age/physical limitations of the attendee's.

Saw Tarzan and it was honestly a great production. The actors were fun to watch, had excellent voices and the outdoor venue was a delight. Prices for wine were a smidge too high. Kids would enjoy blankets on the artificial turf and their own snacks.

It was my first time. I was kinda up in the air :/ considering it was a 'date night' but when I got there it totally surprised me. My date had packed a picnic, she had friends with her that I connected with before we got in. We had a wonderful picnic Supper - the Wine bar was open so... More
