Beautiful Venue

I love attending events here. It is a beautiful restoration of a great old theater and the acoustics are wonderful!

The Empress is a true jewel in Vallejo. The restoration of this venue is amazing. It is a much larger venue than you would expect from the street. The prices are always affordable. For those of us of a certain age, it truly brings back memories. I have seen bands perform, comedians, live theater and even old movies are shown.... More

Great acts coming into The Empress! What else can you do on a Wednesday night for a very very low price! Blues, Rock and Roll, 50s and 60s and more!

The Empress Theater hosts many types of music events. The theatre has been beautifully restored. A new sound system has been installed that is state of the art. We have been to Vallejo Jazz Society events, Kevin Russell's Cream of Clapton, and to hear local musicians. For all events the pricing is very reasonable and the experience has always been... More

We have enjoyed a few concerts at the Empress over the last several years. It holds less than 600 people and has an attached bar and restaurant that we haven't visited. The ticket prices are rarely over $30 and often $15. Free parking is right across the street. They also show movies and have other events.

Nice acoustics, atmosphere, and friendly staff. This is a rather odd thing to find in an otherwise desolate, and culturally starved downtown area.

This is a 100 year old restored theatre that I went to in the 60's. It has been restored to be a beautiful theatre. It has things happening there a lot of nights during the week from famous singers to old movies to blues concerts. There is usually wine and beer available.

The Theatre stood vacant for many years but remodeling restored the beautiful interior to house a modern taste for musical events most weekends and Wednesday's Ramble.
