This, like many other parks, suffers from budget problems. Given the limited resources, the staff does an excellent job of maintaining a very nice location.

We've lived in Vacaville for 30 years, and have been to Lagoon Valley many times. There are tables and barbecue pits near the water. There is a small fee for cars entering the park, or you can use the parking lot just outside the pay station and walk in. It isn't a far walk. One of our favorite things is... More

There are many trails out here. You can walk, jog, ride a bike or ride your horse. This place is dog friendly. There is so much wildlife out here; birds and turtles. There is a Frisbee golf course, an archery range, an area to fly RC planes/drones. There's a dog park. There is plenty of space for flying kites. This is an awesome park with a lake full of ducks and geese. The scenery is magnificent. Plenty of room for picnics with BBQ pits included. Take a walk or jog on one of the beautiful trails!

Park your car just outside the entrance then walk up the mostly paved or graded road to the trail to the top of the park for a fantastic view of Vaca-valley. I bring my dogs up here all the time - we go for a brisk hike then sometimes stop for lunch at one of the picnic tables. It is... More

Lagoon valley has mikes if trails, elevation available for trail running, mountain biking, hiking up to 900 feet. And plenty of flat trails too. Covered trails and open Space- -- disc golf. Great training grounds for runners of all ages and abilities.

Mostly quiet area for getting outdoors. There are some picnic tables by the lagoon and it is a short walk to Pena Adobe, which is worth a visit. My kids brought me here for a picnic and it was lovely. Although it is quite flat which is not my taste, it is surrounded by beautiful hills. If I had the... More

This is our favorite place to walk! Around the lake or on the many trails! Peaceful! Never feel unsafe and most people are friendly.
