About
AronHill Vineyards resides atop a steep limestone overlook just west of Paso Robles. Here, Judy Aron cultivates eight acres of dry-farmed Primitivo and Cabernet Sauvignon, producing small-lot wines of natural purity and structure. The AronHill Bistro is the Paso Robles wine country’s dining discovery, where you will enjoy fresh dishes made from seasonal and local ingredients, all paired with stunning hilltop views. The philosophy of the AronHill Bistro mirrors our approach to winemaking: deliver full, authentic flavors by relying on the best ingredients, and by not overcomplicating what nature has provided.

I organize CA wine tours from the east coast and we had a lunch glitch one day. AronHill was recommended so I called Kathryn (General Manager) and placed a desperation order for 12 people and they were happy to help. Kathryn and Judy had the lunches ready when I arrived and helped load the food into the van. The group loved the lunch selections!
I was very impressed with the friendly customer service attitude, the turnaround and the quality of the food. Haven't tried their wines yet but I plan to taste the two bottles that I purchased. A lunch "go to" venue for sure on my next tour.
Thank you Kathryn and Judy!

Four of us had lunch in their open-air Bistro on June 11th. The food is American and was very good; two of us had the hamburgers, which were excellent. I also purchased two bottles of their white wine. All-in-all a very pleasant experience; highly recommend and we will return.

We visited the winery around lunch time. They provided a great tasting and wonderful lunch on their patio. The margarita flatbread with burrata was great, and the hamburger caprese (the special of the day) was absolutely delicious, one of best burgers I have ever had. Their Kickass wine was one of our favorites. A great experience.

Made reservation and had outdoor seating. Very friendly server and really good wine. Ended up buying 5 bottles. Had the charcuterie board which was slow to arrive and somewhat limited.

When I visited with friends there were two young ladies there to pour the wine. They were friendly but there was something a little louche about both! One of them seemed to be tippling on the side and the other was rather absentminded about the pouring. The vineyard itself is very pretty.

I'm sorry to hear our staff did not meet your expectations. I hope the next time you are in Paso Robles you will try the wines and Bistro again.

Don't care so much for the wine...but that is just our taste. They have great food for lunch but it is SUPER slow...they need another cook/chef. Nice view and relaxing.

We stop at Aron Hill every time we go to Paso which is 2x a year. We've enjoyed lunch and dinner there. Food is very good. We especially love their Primotivo! We are getting ready for our week long trip there we make every summer.

Sarah served us about 8 tastings of wine, all but 1 were red wines. She was very knowledgeable and quite pleasant. The wine was good, but pricey, so we didn't buy anything. They serve lunch, but we arrived just at 3:00 after the kitchen closed. I was disappointed that they couldn't offer us anything to eat.

PROS: I still liked the wine and story of how the vineyard produces their wine enough to buy some cab.

* Beautiful property on sloped land.
* Contemporary style tasting room.
* Great "about" story especially dry farming (sustainability is rare and this one elements deserves big kudos)
* A wine that I wouldn't find outside of this vineyard given limited/no distribution.

CONS: My wine tasting experience... 4 wines, poured in the same glass, never washed in between wine pourings nor were we offered a new glass for each.

Judy & Kathryn were the PERFECT hosts for our night of celebration after our wedding. The tasting room was expertly converted to the dining room, and the patio had tables stationed for our guests to enjoy their food and socialize. The wine was perfect, and our night could not have been better! Thank you AronHill!!
