I stopped in for an end of the day tasting looking for good Rhone wines. The tasting room is very nice aesthetically and has both seated and standing counters for tasting. Kelly was very friendly, engaging, and more importantly she was very knowledgable about Paso wines. Even though I was there near closing time, Kelly took her time and did... More

We loved Cypher. The wines were creative and delicious. Plus the tasting room is very unique. Kelley was great and took her time with us.

We spent much ore time here than originally thought it would be necessary. Young lady behind the counter was knowledgeable, inviting, and sweet. The wines were surprisingly very good, but not cheap. We took the brochure back to our hotel with us and talked it over with my husband. The next day we went again and joined their wine club... More

We were a rather large group without reservations and they kindly accomodated us. There are a couple of really nice wines but what I found outstanding was their dessert wine. I don't like dessert wines because they are too sweet but this one is so different from any others I've ever had. This is something you MUST try if you... More

Hands down the best experience on Route 46. A must stop. Had the Grenache with their cheese plate. What a great surprise. Tons of variety on a cutting board type presentation with dried cranberries, almonds, meat and fantastic choices of cheeses. Worth a trip, worth a stop and worth a try. They also have an outdoor pizza oven. You can... More

Did not plan to spend 4 hours at Cypher but we did, had a nice lunch outside which was amazing. Had plenty of tastings and they kept on coming to bring more. We also got to attend two blind tasting with a bunch of other guests and got even more vino. Well at the end of the day it was... More

We were excited to visit since it had changed names and hoped the wines would improve as well, but they they did not. During Fall Harvest Fest we visited 25 wineries and this is the only one we did not purchase any wine from.

We visited the place on our wine adventure trip on Central Coast. Were positively shocked with the combination of great wines, superb music, and funky entourage (see the photos...)))

We visited almost by happenstance. We had been visiting wineries in the Paso Robles area, and staying at Cambria. On our way back to the Bay Area, we were looking for a winery near Highway 46 for a last hurrah. Cypher fit the bill. So we had low expectations, because we picked it by geography and not for known quality.... More
