Peachy Canyon is one of the oldest family owned and operated wineries on Paso Robles' west side. The tasting room is located in a refurbished 1800's era schoolhouse on one of Peachy Canyon's four estate vineyard properties (the appropriately named "Old Schoolhouse" vineyard).

We're known for our award-winning red Zinfandel lineup - including super premium Zins that are often produced in lots of less 400 cases each - as well as our Bordeaux and Rhone varietal wines. We believe in sustainable winemaking and are dedicated to "keeping it local." Our vineyards are managed by us, and all grapes are harvested and processed by hand by our team.

Our tasting room offers a spacious lawn picnic area and a gazebo, not to mention beautiful vineyard surroundings! Stop by with a picnic and have a glass with us... Chairs, blankets, (leashed) pets and children always welcome.

This place is the opposite of the high end fancy places you find in Paso but it was a welcome change of pace. The tasting room is a simple converted home with a warm inviting feel. The grounds are beautiful and a great place to sit outside under the trees and listen to live music while eating your picnic lunch.... More

We stopped by Peachy Canyon at the request of my chiropractor, who asked me to pick up a bottle of his most favorite port. We originally were only going to run in and out, but decided to stay for a tasting. Jay helped us and boy, was it fun! We were laughing and enjoying our tastings and the chit chat... More

This wine shop was in a cute location. I just stopped to get a bottle of wine for a friend. I am not familiar with the tastings and inquired if we could taste the wine before buying the bottle. That was no problem but they failed to tell me there would be a charge for this. So I had a... More

Hi Susan, thanks for taking the time to stop by and purchase a bottle of wine! We very much appreciate you coming in, and I hope your friend enjoys the wine. I apologize for the confusion regarding the cost of your wine tasting. The price of $10 per tasting is listed at the top of all of our wine lists/menus... More

I was passing through Central Coast and wanted to take in a winery. I have heard about Peachy Canyon and was not disappointed. I enjoyed their 2012 Syrah and their Rose. If you happened to be on Hwy 46, Peachy Canyon is one to enjoy. The attendants are personable and know their wines. The tasting room is welcoming and the... More

Housed in an old schoolhouse, Peachy Canyon is a far cry from the "palaces" built for other local wineries. That is a major part of their charm; comfortable, laid back and scenic. The hostesses were very friendly and outgoing. Famous for their zins, all their wines were good, as always. At least two of their "lesser" but good wines are... More

We had a great time here and the grounds were beautiful. Don't know about the huge chair but it was fun taking pictures. The tasting room is spacious and fun to be in plus the wines were delicious.

Home spun comfort and good wine to taste and take home. Have had their wine for some time while traveling and the visit was worth the stop.

Kate was an accommodating hostess and tailored the experience to our interests. We like reds, especially bold grapes while our friends like a broader range of whites to smooth reds. No problem at Peachy Canyon. Everyone had a good time and our tongues were entertained. The Zins are spectacular but don't neglect the cabs. They're special too. Thanks Kate. Nice... More

We enjoyed out visit to Peachy Canyon, and especially enjoyed meeting the owner and chatting about the winery. They have a variety of wines available to taste and all were very good to excellent with a reasonable price for most. They have fun trivia questions to answer relating to wine as well for those who are trivia geeks.
