Three couples enjoyed the wine so much, we joined the Club. Good thing as JC has a limit on the membership. My understanding is that if the wine club is full you can get on the waiting list. So we enjoyed the Pinot Noir and have done so with our shipments this last year. Always looking for good wines at... More

Perhaps our standards had been elevated by wineries who truly love their wines, but our specific visit seemed like it was more of an imposition than an opportunity. We certainly understand we were showing up near the end of a (potentially) hectice harvest weekend, but our host was pretty much going through the motions and did not care to engage... More

Although their strengths are their luscious estate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, they’ve recently expanded to Grenache and Syrah. Their wines are not cheap, but they are delicious and usually sell out within a few months of release. They have some special projects using concrete fermentation tanks as well as a sparkling wine so their fall 2015 release should be special.... More

We had an amazing experience at Jack Creek Cellars in Templeton. We were able to sign up for a tasting and food pairing at this place. Our wine guide was terrific. She had a great personality and was very willing to answer all questions! She guided us through the process and we all had a great time! I would highly... More

It was my second time visiting Jack Creek and the service and quality of the wine are still amazing. When in the Paso area you have to visit Jack Creek

We have visited many wineries in this area, and none beats this one. They make my favorite pinot noir, which is spectacular. Some of the wines are for sale only to club members, and is one is worth joining to get them. Each wine you taste is paired with different cheeses, a nice touch. Two that are interesting to taste... I have been to their winery more than once without being able to purchase a bottle of their Pinot Noir for one reason or another. Out of it or reserved for their Wine Club members. I have been able to taste and buy it at the Los Olivos tasting room in Los Olivos. There other wines are just average.

So this was our 2nd visit. Love their wines! They do this small, I mean very small pairing with food. We started out with Chardonnay with soft goat cheese, delicious! Then wonderful fuller body Pinot Noir with salami, equally delicious! Granache with hard sheep cheese, fantastic!, Finally, yummy creamy goat cheese ice cream with Syrah, amazing!! The first time we... More

I love the smallness of this winery. It is unusual for me to find a Chardonnay in this region that I like. I bought it at $36.00 a bottle which is expensive for Chard. I know this Winery is known for it's Pinot and so if you life the small wineries that are not pretentious go!

Winery is small and not really a lot to see, but area is beautiful and staff was friendly. Microclimate allows this vineyard to grow/produce a really good Chardonnay, which is rare in Paso Robles. Pinot Noir is excellent. Only bottles grapes that they grow in the vineyard, so production is low (<3000 cases annually) which makes the wine pricey, but... More
