Just because you CAN grow wine grapes doesn't mean you SHOULD make wine, and nowhere is this more evident than Temecula, California. I know I sound like the worst wine snob imaginable, but let's get real: the wine here is basically junk. Wineries seem to be making money by selling a wine that should sell for no more than $3... Hello - Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a thorough review. We're glad that you enjoyed the service, had fun, felt like a valued customer, and that you considered the wine pouring so generous. We work hard to try to provide the best possible customer service, and we're glad you enjoyed the results. We are sorry... More

Attended an evening wedding at this winery with beautiful bride and tall handome groom!. The wedding ceremony overlooked vineyards in the distance. Quite awesome actually. Long uphill/steps to wedding location; altho I believe they can golf cart you up the back way. We were 30 minutes early for the actual ceremony so is it necessary to charge wedding guests $14... Sure-Palomar is one of the few tasting places in Temecula that doesn't gouge your wallet for wine tasting.. And, yes, their cream sherry is probably the best in all of California. My comment, though, is on their chef and the wonderful luncheon menu. Titles sound simple, but the sandwiches and sides are excellent. Try the turkey panini-- absolutely awesome! --and... More

Shar is one of the most knowledgeable guides that we ran across on our trip to Temecula. She is probably more the person for a serious wine drinker versus a touristy wine taster (nothing wrong with that!) We purchased the Shorty's Bistro red and look forward to this as an affordable every day type drink. We also purchased the '11... More

We drop in every couple of weeks to grab a few bottles. Cabernet Franc can be hard to come by, and Mt Palomar's is very nice. Haven't tried eating there or attended a function there yet, but it looks like a great venue.

We stopped in to Mount Palomar for some ceviche and wine tasting. Sher was an excellent host and pourer, and the food was delicious. The grounds were also very nice, with tons of photo spots. Thank you for taking care of us - we'll be back!

Their new restaurant with full bar is absolutely wonderful!! The service was excellent and when we ordered a wine that was not what we expected, they immediately substituted with no issue whatsoever. It's a beautiful facility and one of the best values in wine country. We will go again and have recommended it to several people.

Thank Annette T
