Something here for everyone: foodies, shoppers, history buffs, and scenery buffs. It's all here! Plan on at least 2 hours to do this place justice. Any less and you will short-change your experiences. So, here is my recommendation: grab some water at the market (temps are high, hydration is necessary), continue along and read the historic plaques, stop in at... More

Old town looks and feels like an old time western cowboy town, but too many pubs with just pub grub. The old time western facade makes every look interesting but there's limited amount of different shops. The wineries are great and worth going to on many visiting, but not " Old Town." For good food leave " Old Town "... More

Great old western experience. Great food venues. Motel or hotel accommodations a bit pricey, be sure to check into and book in advance. Allow plenty of time for sightseeing.

We decided to come down on a Saturday morning. It was fun going to the farmers market and strolling thru all of the shops downtown. We had a very pleasant day.

Four to five blocks of antique malls, interesting boutiques and some great eateries. Some wine tasting and breweries.

I came here to see what it was all about with my California cousins. Even if there are a lot of people here..you can still find parking..I liked the sidewalks made out of boards like in an old Western movie..I was told by my Cali cousins that Temecula started out as a stagecoach stop between San Diego and LA..there are... More restaurants than shopping. Truly is a wine country town and not full of other things to do.. Which was fine with us!

If you think that you can fill a whole day with Temecula old town , you will be mistaken . Given the summer heat , it would only be a very hardy antiques shop browser that could make this last more than an hour. Call in on the way somewhere else , have some lunch but don't plan your whole... More

Definitely worth a visit while in Temecula for wine tasting. Some good restaurants, lots of antique and collectible shops and some of the usual touristy souvenirs.
