About
Browse the wares at Old Town Temecula’s antique stores and quaint boutiques, and stop by one of the many cafes to savor the finest local wines—you’re in the heart of the Temecula Valley Wine Country, after all. Hang out along Old Town Front Street for a spot of people-watching as you take in the views of the mountains that tower over Temecula.
If wine isn’t your thing, don’t fret. There are a growing number of breweries, distilleries, and meaderies in the region, so you’re sure to find an establishment serving something local to your taste. Don’t miss the weekly morning farmer’s market. – Tripadvisor

- TawnyrvalOntario, California1,584 contributionsVery cute small town...Old Town Temecula is soooo cute, it’s not very big but has lots to offer; a vintage store, coffee shop, garden, restaurants, soap shop and olive oil shop. I’ve passed by many times and was so glad to be able to walk around a bit. While, I waited to check in at Pechanga Resort and Casino. Just in the background on the East side of Old Town Front Street you will see the City of Temecula Civic center. It was beautifully decorated for the season, Christmas of course! It gets very cold at night during the winter so I would suggest taking a stroll during the day when the sun is out. I have to be honest and say it was quite cold so I didn’t fully finish the tour but can’t wait to come back.Visited November 2022Written December 14, 2022
- Tina A1 contributionOld Town walk and Havana's foodFavorite food place here is the cuban restaurant Havana's. The roast pork dishes are amazing and the Cuban sandwich is fresh and delicious. After the meal, try the cuban drink materva and you won't be disappointed. Havana's in one our regular places to eat. Then I like to take a walk around the shops and enjoy the town. Its a great place to spend the day.Visited February 2023Written February 13, 2023

There are plenty of places to enjoys the brews and food. We like strolling the street and looking at the shops. So we tend to visit during the day or early evening. It is fun to watch the people and check the scene.Visited February 2023Written February 20, 2023
- Dr HookBaltimore, Maryland54 contributionsConcert for Black History Month2nd visit to Temecula and this was for a concert at the Old Town Community Theater. I was able to find some free street parking about 4 short blocks away but missed the entrance to the theater and had to walk all the way around the block to find it. A very nice quaint small theater with all of the seats within good viewing distance of the stage. Loved the atmosphere and the staff was kind and courteous. The performance was wonderful and the only drawback to the evening was the concession stand was outside of the theater at the next building. It just so happened to be raining a bit that evening. No camera photography was allowed at this performance; however, the artists did do a meet and greet after their performance.Visited February 2023Written March 3, 2023

- Dora G20 contributionsTemecula old townWhat a hidden gem . Love all the little shops and restaurants. Later realized we sat in one of the restaurants who was owned by a celebrity( mr Dean Norris)! Just stopped in for an afternoon drink an appetizer, and was impressed by seeing the actor as an everyday joe with his employees. At first i heard his familiar voice behind me , asked my husband could that be him or a twin of the actor?? But sure enough it was Mr. Norris. Great little restaurant only wished i had the food. Smells were delicious and the food looked like good portions. We’ll be back again when we visit Temecula. Also we got to see the fresh market with all the fresh produce. Fun little town.Visited March 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten April 7, 2023
- Linda SHolly Springs, North Carolina19 contributionsUnique shops and restaurantsOld Town Temecula has it all. It’s your one place to find everything by walking down one street. Park your car and just start walking. There are excellent restaurants that have great food on both sides of the Main Street which is about a half mile long. We tried Texas Lil’s outdoor dining during their happy hour. Their appetizers are excellent with huge portions. We made a meal out of just their appetizers and even had to take some with us. We had the zucchini, boneless wings and pork riblets, which were all delicious. We had dessert at The Sweet Shop, which has excellent ice cream. There are also many unique shops along the street to browse through. If you are looking for antiques, there are many along the main street. But if you are really into antiques, try Grannies Attic, which is a 30,000 sq foot building loaded with antiques. It is located on the street behind Old Town. Parking can be difficult along Main Street, so look for any public parking you can find. Very enjoyable and friendly town.Visited July 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten July 17, 2023

The Farmers market is somewhat scaled down but according to my daughter who lives there they should be expanding soon. I have been to farmers markets all over the world but man,oh man I was impressed with this one. High quality merchandise. Flowers galore. Fresh fish, veggies.
Of course lots of great shops and restaurants. A new Italian, bistro is opening. Under construction now but looks to be amazing

I came down here for lunch and was really surprised to see so much construction. It was impossible to park on the street and in many places the side walk was under construction. It still does have charm with a few different stores offering great unusual ideas. I also noticed a few stores that looked empty. When all is done I am sure Old Town will be even more appealing but for now I will wait for construction to end

Temecula has an excellent Old Town section that is littered with restaurants and niche shops. Some places have 'mist' valves set up to keep it cooler, but I recommend going on a cool day. 3-digit days are better spent at the beach in Oceanside or Carlsbad.
Parking can be a challenge, so it would be good to go earlier in the day. The evening rocks with busy pub traffic, and extremely slow street traffic.

If you have a hankering to peruse lots of wonderful little shops, this is the city! Such an array of wonderful places to walk through and plenty to buy. From small gifts for those back home or something for yourself or home, this place is quaint with quality. From French soaps and perfumes to ostrich jerky, you'll find it here. Enjoy a burger or delicious Mexican food, have a beer and munchies, or a gourmet meal. Temecula has it all. Enjoy an afternoon stroll and take it in.

Quaint place to wander around, nice antiques, bric a brac, gifts and boutiques at reasonable prices. Replica of an old gold rush settlement I presume.
Lovely shop selling wonderful, authentic Indian arts and jewellery.called Taos. Great places to eat and drink. If you want more evening entertainment ..line dancing, music, theatre etc avoid visiting on Monday and Tuesdays as several of these kind of places are closed then. Most shops and eateries are open but not all.

The Old Town is authentic as it shared the history of the Califorina Gold Rush and a number of buildings have been preserved. It is filled with interesting boutiques, an amazing farmers market on Saturdays, fine and casual dining as well as numerous venues with live music. Temecula is a very special place. Visit it, you won't be disappointed!

If you ever wanted to step back into what modern man thinks 1886 was like, then this is your kind of place.
This quaint Main Street in Temecula has a few of each of what you would find on most main streets, including a candy store, a soap shop, a psychic, the old bank that is now a Mexican place, a bar that has all stand up arcade machines and what seems to be a self proclaimed largest country music venue on the west coast.
It’s a great place to visit in the winter months cause the summers are brutal in Temecula. Oh and you can see the first jail for this town there too. Pretty cool.

The old town has individually owned small businesses - no major chains here. We came on the weekend and found a great farmers market. I’d you arrive early enough, you can find free on the street parking. Most stores opened at 10:00. Fun shops for everyone, not handicapped friendly though. You have street boards and or stairs into buildings but no ramps. Shops are small so no elevators to second floors. Cute with many food options. Can walk the whole strip, stores and market in 4 hours or less.

Leoness Cellars was a wonderful atmosphere inside and out. The food is unbelievable, tasty and always consistent. Always my top choice for tasting or an upscale dinner. Service has also been great. We also love Lorimar Winery. Excellent red selections and a comfortable patio are to relax and enjoy wine country. Tasting is inside but we buy a bottle and drink on the patio.
