Great tasting in the misting rain

Stopped here for lunch with a friend. We were seated next to the large window overlooking the wine valley - what a soothing vantage point! We ordered the daily special which was a chef special and was superb! Service was very good. I highly recommend this place for a casual lunch.

Our last stop of the day due to a cold misty rain. As I walked in I asked where the hot mulled wine was. Imagine my surprise when Raymond, our host, lifted a crock pot lid that held the hot wine. We used our 2-1 coupon and tasted some good wines. We bought a Chardonnay and a Merlot. Raymond gave... More

This was our first experience in Temecula and Falkner was our first stop. Everything was cold (not the people), the room, the wine, and the overall experience. There was a good restaurant on premises for lunch or a cheese plate. Saving the day was their seasonal special they call "Hot Lips". It was spiced red table wine served warm and... More

This winery seemed very casual and relaxed. Wines were average but the venue and view adds to the experience. The bartenders at the outside bar this particular Friday were terrible. Very uninterested and just said anything and really did not care about the customer's experience. Thankfully this was not our first experience so we ignored it.

There are no words that can adequately describe how magical and perfect the venue and all the staff were during the planning and the actual wedding for our daughter and new son-in-law.

My friends and I had a great time at the Falkner Winery. The server was very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable about the different types of wine and which wines to pick based on our likes. There are a number of wines to choose from and they also serve a Sangria and Mojito using their wines, which are both delicious. I... More

We have been to many wineries for tastings. Falkner is a small family owned operation that has an extremely comfortable tasting room. We packed a lunch and enjoyed food and wine out on the deck that has spectacular west views. So relaxing. The wines are great and so glad I tasted so many varieties. I'm generally not a huge fan... My experience with tasting rooms has been that they are somewhat boring in the varieties that are offered, and you rarely find an outstanding wine. Was pleased to have a different experience at Falkner! Their Cabernet's were very good, serviceable dinner wines, but when I opted to try their 2012 Amante Tuscan wine, the bells went off! This is a... More

This was the first tasting I did in Temecula and I enjoyed it very much. The wines were good and they made the experience a lot of fun.

Experience was fine as were all but the wines lacked any type of interest at all! This was our first stop so we were refreshed and focused to buy or else I wouldn't state something as strong as "worst". I asked for tasting notes on which to make some personal notes and was looked at as if this was the... More
