Met some girlfriends here for a private tasting. Haven't been here in sooo many years. Barrel room is very nice and quaint. Service was fantastic, thank you Holly😘enjoyed a flight of whites only and was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed all if them. Definitely will be going here again. FYI: they don't have an actual tasting room now due to a fire in the building so be prepared to be outside.

Reggie was a fantastic host during our wine tasting last Saturday. They have excellent wines and at a great price! I'm from Wisconsin and are having multiple bottles shipped. I can't wait to receive my wines and share them with my wine club friends here.

We six went to Falkner Winery on Sunday 9/12/10. I had never visited a winery in Temecula before Sunday. We decided to begin our wine tasting day there and then move on to other wineries like we do in Napa. We loved the place so much, we stayed the day. Sunday is jazz music day. There was an alto sax player with his own back up recordings to support him. He pulled it off. He was fantastic. The wine sampled between the reds and whites were amazing. Even the port was perfect. Not a bit syrupy.
Andy, our wine pourer was friendly and you could tell he loved the wine and people he was serving. Falkner also offered a Sunday barbeque and it was also really good. We took advantage of 2 for 1 tasting coupons online and it was a great bargain. So there we sat from about 12:00 to 3:00 sampling, eating, sharing a few bottles that we had purchased and loving the view on the mountain side. There were plenty of benches, tables and chairs in the grass area that were also very conveniently positioned near the outside tasting bar, music and barbeque. Falkner is highly recommended. Enjoy.

I never write reviews- good or bad. You can check my status on Yelp, I'm a noob. But while doing research for my upcoming wedding reception, Falkner Winery gave me a reason. I've lost count of the number of venues that I have called regarding pricing and so forth, and never have I encountered such a rude and unaccommodating event coordinator. Worst bit, it was the owner. As soon as I stated my venue/catering budget of $10k for 200 people, it was laughed at and I was told I'm wasting my time- that no winery that she's aware of could work with that. No "I'll see what I can do", or "That might be tough, but here are some options", or even "I'm sorry but... have you considered...?" Not even her asking if there was any wiggle room on our end- would I have been willing to spend more if they had shown willingness to work with us? Gladly. However, they just lost our business period. Sad since we are locals, who love wine country as well as most of our guests. Guess we know where we are never going back to or recommending.

Poor form, Falkner. Take a class on professionalism.

Attended an outside wedding. The scenery was great, The food and service was horrible. The food in the buffet had little taste and they were very slow in keeping the trays with food. Many guests had little to eat because they ran out of food! The bartender was rude and the line to the bar was always long (there should have been another bartender for 150 guests). I would not recommend this place to anyone!

Please beware when dealing with the owner.

A few years ago, I discovered this place as i was looking for wedding venues. I was excited about getting married like any soon to be bride would, so I visited this winery and soon met with Loretta Falkner (the owner). Loretta made me feel very at ease when presenting the venue but she hooked me as soon as we sat down in a private room where my friends were not allowed to be in. The next thing I knew, I was signing many forms and gave her an $800 deposit for reserving a Sunday wedding. I left with a feeling like I have been taken and pressured.

A few weeks later, I was given the news that my fiance got an offer to work out of state and we both decided to move cross country. We also decided to postpone our wedding since we were unsure of the future. I then explained to Loretta the situation and asked if we could move the date or at least get a portion of our deposit since she still had 7 months to book the date to others. She refused and when I asked if we could at least get some wine for the $800 she happily took from us, she of course refused and said she was not able to help me with anything and she was to keep the deposit. She did not suggest any other options and we found out that she later had booked the date to someone else. She made money from us for doing nothing!

We never did have a nice vineyard wedding ceremony but we're still together and happily married. We are also not so naive and so trusting of people like Loretta Falkner who obviously makes her money from pressure and hook and bait tactics.

It was good up until the groom and his bride discovered that their wedding gifts/card box was missing some gifts!! They found out that they had been stolen by the staff working their wedding reception!! And on top of that, when it got reported to their management, they added insult to injury by making discriminatory and derogatory comments VIA EMAIL!! What supposed "nice and luxurious" establishment does that?!?! I really hope they get their due justice!!!

This winery used to be good but then they let in others and they ruined it. Problem is that the new people thought they should have a mediocre restaurant attached to the winery and focus more on the mediocre restaurant than the winery. The reason people are in the area, is for the wine, not for your crappy restaurant.
This is the reason why Temecula used to have good wine and now they have so so wine because the winery owners think you need to pump as much money as you can into the facade and very little into winemaking. These places are good for drunks, but bad for people who really enjoy wine.

This was the first wine tasting my group did during our weekend trip. The gentleman, Josh, I think his name was, was great. He was nice and invited us right in. He was fun and made all of us feel welcomed and comfortable. He then switched out his shift with a lady named Reggie and she was amazing too! She was so funny and spunky, we all just had a great time with her during our session. The gift shop was cute and relaxing to walk around sipping our wines. Beautiful views! Loved it.
