First off, despite having "smoke-free" areas, the smell of smoke permeates every corner. Secondly, we checked the website for the Thanksgiving buffet for several days prior to Thanksgiving, and it said the cost was $28.99. However, imagine our surprise when we arrived and the charge...More

We had a fun time. We took one of our daughter's gambling for the first time. She was really amazed at the size of the casino. Of course now she wants to go to Vegas!

This is a huge casino much like those in Las Vegas. They have all games, a non-smoking area and a huge poker room that is also non-smoking. Several restaurants with good food.

Our short visit to Temecula (1 Replies)
We just returned from a short but wonderfully relaxing trip to Temecula. The area is a hidden gem. I hope it stays of the commercialization radar a bit longer before turning into another Napa. We stayed at Hampton Inn. Large clean rooms, friendly staff, short walk to Old Town. Took a tour with Grapeline. Visited 4 wineries in one day. Lunch included. By my estimate, drank over a bottle of wine. The following day, took Uber to see other wineries. Didn't like Wilson Creek. Too crowded;...More

Thanks for the great advise. We really enjoyed our trip to Temcula. For those not wanting to read the book that is my trip report: Embassy Suites is great as long as you request a suite and not a double room. Their free breakfast and managers reception are wonderful. I also liked their big pool and hot tub. We only at a few restaurants but enjoyed them all. If you get the chance, try Mad Madelines & Rosa's Cantina in Old Town. Also check out the jerky store & olive oil company....More
