Impressive! Bubbly vibe at weekend brunch. Free parking.
Came with a friend for brunch in order to celebrate summer and catch up and I was honestly quite impressed!

I hadn't been to Wilson Creek in 11 years and couldn't get over how expanded in size it seemed and how hopping busy it was on a weekend lunch, despite Covid. (Summer 2021). We were sat outside where there was a really good vibe with lots of parties of girlfriends, couples and even an engagement proposal took place while we were there. Service was attentive and they allowed us to sit and chat for a few hours, even after we were finished.

The menu was somewhat limited, but the food was really good. I enjoyed an omelette with country roast potatoes and a really tasty orange flavored corn bread. We each had a slushy cocktail which had some of their famous almond bubbly somewhere in there!

Afterwards, we wandered around the gift/wine tasting store where you can buy quality wine related gifts. My friend treated herself to two bottles to take home.

I would definitely return for a special occasion or simply another brunch.

Note: Free parking. Temperatures can be hot, but they have umbrellas and some misters.

Not good
Jul 2021
Arrived here and were greeted by a very nice woman who directed us to the grill for lunch. We walked to the grill counter and before we could order the cashier began to wait on two men who came in behind us. The advised her we were there first she ignored that info. The other server took our order and handed it along with my credit card to the cashier. I signed the receipt but realized we had not been asked if we wanted a drink. I asked the cashier woman what was on draft and she replied but walked away. I asked when could I get the draft and she replied as soon as she finished with those people who had come in after us. Incredibly poor service. Maybe $20.00 for two burgers and $9 for a draft beer was not enough money for her. My advice go to taste the wine but avoid the so called grill.

If you want a Vegas club disguised as a winery...
Jul 2021
This is the place. I was only here about 20 minutes. I walked to the tasting station outside, and I couldn't get a bartenders attention (just like a Vegas club!). Everyone was drinking the wine slushies (just like Vegas!). That alone tells you this place isn't a real winery. I walked inside and there was a huge line there (just like a Vegas club!). I just left after not being able to get even a second of service. Afterwards I went to a real winery (Vindemia) and had a much better experience.

Disappointed on our anniversary!
Jun 2021
Better attitude at hostest station. Waited 45 minutes for a table. Service at our table was slow and the food quality was not up to your usual standard.
My wife and I, along with guests, were there for our wedding anniversary and were very disappointed.
We have been coming to Wilson Creek for ten years and this is the first time we left
feeling sorry we came.

Best to plan ahead and make reservations... they get busy.
May 2021
We visited on the Monday before Memorial Day Weekend.... 2021.... about 2 PM... and there were no open tables for lunch. The hostess said it would be about 20-30 minutes, so we put our name on a wait list and went for a wine tasting. Unfortunately, you had to go back to the main entrance/building to buy a tasting ticket.. which is for a specified time... and luckily there was an open time right then.... and then get escorted to your tasting area.
The wait for lunch turned out to be more than hour... and lunch...now approaching dinner... took 2 hours... and really we just had salads and burgers. IDK if its an understaffing issue or what. The food was fine.
Overcoming the subpar experience with the restaurant... was the wine tasting and the grounds. The staff manning the wine tasting area were funny, nice and engaging... and they *really* knew the wines. They took good care of us.
We enjoyed the wines so much, we ended up buying a case.

Great wine tasting experience

Loved our time here. Very friendly, no pressure. Bryan was our host and was terrific. Whites are excellent, reds not as great. We left with sparkling / viognier bottles. Recommend this place for fun / hospitality and quality of whites / sparkling wines

Affordable wine tasting at a five diamond location
May 2021 • Solo
I really enjoyed my experience at this location I don't go wine tasting too much but when I first pulled in I looked around and there was plenty of parking it's a dirt road when you first pull in so it's really cool something different I really enjoy the environment when I got on my vehicle it was a tiny little walk the moment I arrived through the doors I've never seen something so beautiful just like any other vineyard they handed me a card and I sat down and started to taste the wine drink and drink I was literally having such a wonderful time I took a walk around the vineyard and never seen something so beautiful just thinking about this location gives me the Goosebumps I can't wait to return.

So commercial it's a turnoff
May 2021
Wilson Creek is known for its sparkling wines and years ago when it began, it was a wonderful experience. Given COVID 19 experience, they have allowed tastings with 6 foot spacing, but this place is mobbed and the wines are overpriced. The chocolate experience you get with the almond sparkling wine now is a separate charge. It is huge and frankly at this point, not something I look for. People are drawn to this winery because it's known, but I think like many other wineries along the Rancho California Rd, they have caved in to being mercenary instead of being a good wine tasting experience. We did like the peach belini sparkling wine, but I don't think paying those inflated prices is wise. I did buy my husband a really cool resort shirt in the store though.

Pleasant Lunch Surprise
Apr 2021
After returning from a hike around a nearby lake we were looking for some lunch and stopped by. The building and grounds were amazing. Large tasting areas, dining and gardens all providing ample social distancing.
For lunch my wife had a reuben sandwich that was one of the best she has ever eaten. I had the caesar salad with chicken, also very good. Great service and reasonable prices.

All kinds of excellent, and family friendly too
Oct 2020
My husband and I came here for his birthday with our 5-year-old daughter in tow. It was a rainy Sunday in October but it didn't take away from the experience one bit. The place was quite busy and had plenty of covered areas. Our waiter was just fantastic. He was so knowledgeable and we had such a great time talking that he shared a few red wine tastings not on the menu - two bottles of which we ended up buying - the petite sirah being our favorite. Walking the grounds was also a lot of fun, and our daughter very much enjoyed the photo ops throughout the vineyard. The place is huge and hosts large events regularly. We did wait about 30 minutes to reach a designated tasting area. But were around great company and met folks from out of state as well. You'll need at least an hour here.
