We stay in North Shore and frequently drive over to see The Mansion... You Say Hellmans - we say Best Foods- same thing and this is the family Tahoe estate.

While it's true this is not an opulent mansion, it's still taking a trip back into history and seeing how a wealthy family lived in their summer home. The rooms are set up to look like they did in their hey-day, which is a fascinating...More

A tour of this beautiful Tahoe mansion is a must for anyone visiting Sugar Pine State Park. After paying entrance fee, go to the visitor center to get a house tour ticket. Bring your picnic and beach chair to sit at the lake side.

The property provides one of the best views of Lake Tahoe and has an amazing dock to swim off of. Note that as of July 2017 the directions in trip advisor are wrong. So you should Google map to the estate on your own.
