Established in 1991, Lighthouse Spa and Massage has become a classic North Lake Tahoe establishment and a beautiful location for a massage or spa treatment. We are located on the beautiful shores of North Lake Tahoe, in the heart of Tahoe City.

This is a cute boutique spa located behind the Safeway in Tahoe City. I had a massage and a facial with Michelle. She's a great massage therapist that was able to work out several knots I'd been carrying around for awhile. The facial was a mix of traditional and ayurvedic; she used an interesting ayurvedic tool called a Kansa Wand, which is an alchemical healing tool from India. Apparently it pulls the toxins from your skin. The extracted toxins appear as a silvery sheen on your skin, which of course, she wipes off at the end of the session. Next time, I think I'll try the full Ayurveda Facial Massage since this was a fascinating process. Although I like to spa-hop just for a different experience, it'll be hard not to return here.

OMG! I can only give them 5 stars? What a wonderful experience. We were at a conference at the Resort at Squaw Creek and decided a massage would be the perfect beginning to a busy day. While the Resort has a nice spa, the prices are "resort" prices. A little research and a phone call uncovered Lighthouse. We booked a massage and one add on each. The spa is a little hard to find but it actually overlooks Lake Tahoe, Colleen and Monika were wonderful. I've had massages at least once a month and from spas all over the country. Monika is in my top three. Call and see if Monika is available. You won't be sorry. We're hoping this conference is back in Squaw Creek next year so we can return to Lighthouse Spa.

No complaints what so ever, staff was excellent, and the couples message we got was even better. Will be coming back even tho its a bit pricey.

I have worked in the spa industry for over 15 years so I am very hard to impress. The lighthouse spa was an absolute joy! Zanne Rhodes was my massage therapist and she did a phenomenal job. The location was a little hard to find at first but once I arrived the location and staff were spectacular! The lake view is very serene and the staff was friendly and helpful. If your in the area and in need of pain relief or just relaxation I highly recommend!

A must do pamper project for your body. My massage was heaven on earth. It was snowing and a beautiful day, what else to do but get a massage. Great angel hands! I highly recommend getting a massage at the Lighthouse Spa at the Granlibakken Resort.

What a great experience to get a massage right next to the lake! Jaime did a great job, the atmosphere of the spa was warm, comfortable and welcoming.

Went and had a two hour experience at the Lakeside Lighhouse, a 90 minute deep tissue and a sinus and head clarifying treatment. My therapist dug deep with very strong and consistent pressure. The facial treatment felt great! I could barely walk out of there in my super relaxed state! Clean, professional, and friendly!

My wife and I decided a massage was in order after a week of skiing, and this place didn't disappoint. Very nice, very professional, reasonably priced. Good central location near town within walking distance of downtown Tahoe City. Somewhat hard to find initially as it's located behind a Safeway Supermarket, but not a big deal. Both of us were very happy with the service/massage. Recommend highly.

My wife and I found our time at Lighthouse Spa to be great. We were able to relax and enjoy the nice massage. The employees were both professional and friendly. I would gladly recommend a visit.
