The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the Lake. We learned a lot and the presentation was relaxed and informative. Excellent from beginning to end. The building itself is glorious!

I was referred to this place by the people at the Incline Village education center. In some ways this is even better. The actual building is a 100 year old fish hatchery, although it does not have fish there anymore. It is really beautiful - the sort of thing you don't see any more. Instead the UC Davis people do research there. They have great exhibits with old time video of when it was a hatchery and also some of things that are happening on the lake these days. All very interesting. I spend my time traveling around the world, and what researchers are doing here to help this beautiful lake is something I have never encountered before.…
